Phones Sky on Tuesday to cancel.

    I was offered £83 for
    Signature
    Kids
    Netflix standard no ads
    Cinema
    and Super Fast BB
I’m paying £92 (with kids as well which I don’t mind losing) at the moment and my contract ends on 14th November.

had a call from the retentions team today offering me £58 for all of the above (but Netflix with ads).

I want a lot closer to £50 for everything otherwise I’m either going to virgin or a mix of free view & Now TV

Do you think I’m being unrealistic?

rang 10/10 as bill £13 a month more than agreed - they could find no mention of offer/prices that were wrong
said they would check audio of call

(I have a recording of the 24/9 as well- i let him read out all t&c and confurmation of package at end of call)
Worth mentioning that you've got evidence of the call, that may focus their mind. Always worth having evidence when dealing with TV/phone/BB companies in case of "misunderstandings".

Got the packaging for the Sky Q box with a letter inside. Same number as posted previously for coming back to Sky (going to leave it for a bit). Letter mentions putting the HDMI cable in the box, but the packaging only mentions the box, power supply and remote. It also says to contact third party streaming services to cancel (Discovery+), but Discovery+ say you have to contact the provider.

Mne was the same about hdmi lead. I still had the sky lead(sky branding on lead) so I put that in the box. I never put any batteries in the return box

As for Discovery it depends on if you still have a way of watching it to your liking. If your TV has the app or a Firestick then you carry on paying for the sub unless you want to watch it on a mobile device.

No emails/calls so, Today (16/10) Oct & future bills showing £13 higher than agreed.

Rang  again today - don't seem of checked call, now said manager getting in touch with person who I called  on 24/9 & to give till Fri 24th (though say they would  phone or email [if im unable to answer] before then)

I dont hold out much hope for resolution on next call , so I can if needed do it straight after if get no joy- what is the next step -  contact sky via complaints on sky.com or is there a better more direct route

(I have a recording of the 24/9 as well- i let him read out all t&c and confurmation of package at end of call)
I've had success with the email address estenquiries at sky.uk (replace the at with the  @  symbol)

    Otherwise snail mail to:-

    Customer Complaints,
    Sky Subscribers Services Ltd,
    PO Box 43,
    Livingston,

My Sky contract ended a few months back but I’ve never got round to renewing it so at the min I’m just on a monthly rolling contract paying way over the odds.
Would I still need to give notice, or because I’m out of  contract would it just cancel instantly.

30 or 31 days notice, out of contract.

Going to put notice in tomorrow when chat opens. What would be a reasonable price to aim for?

    Sky Ultimate
Netflix premium (would go to standard w/o ads if it was a lot cheaper)
    multiroom
    HD
    Full fibre 100+

Was considering signing up in my partners name as a new customer as would likely get a better deal and can get Fibre Gigafast through TCB however the reviews on Sky stream are putting me off.
