my Sky package (Signature, Sports, multiscreen) going up from £64.50 to £94.50 next month. Phoned and cancelled - told them I was not interested in counter offers. Will get Sports on NowTV and not bothered about the rest. They are taking the proverbial now,1

I’m having a mare with them. I have Sky signature, cinema, sports, HD, Netflix premium, Multiscreen. Paramount and discovery apparently thrown in free. Currently on slow 60mbps broadband. They will not budge from £122 renewal, without any upgrade to fibre. The slow broadband is basically rigid at £30 per month and if I want fibre then I have to pay even more.My ex secured the above, but with 500mbps fibre and no Multiscreen or cinema for £89 a month. This was last week. 500mbps fibre is quoted at £43 off the bat.
no one I’ve spoken to at Sky in the last 2 days apparently knows anything about fibre deals. They don’t exist! I’ve quoted Vodafone fibre prices at them - they don’t care. One guy actually told me to take it.Ready to cancel now, they are taking the hit and miss.0 -
Your TV isn't linked to the BB but Sky currently offer 300Mbps full fibre for £30 to new customers at least, there's 3 lower/cheaper options as well.0

They’ve begrudgingly offered me 150 mbps for £34 a month. They are adamant they cannot do better.JSmithy45AD said:Your TV isn't linked to the BB but Sky currently offer 300Mbps full fibre for £30 to new customers at least, there's 3 lower/cheaper options as well.0 -
Time to move then, try https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/compare-broadband-deals/ or the Uswitch service. You can just move the broadband & phone (check you get a phone line if needed as not all do one nowadays).FluffyBuffster said:

Given the size of your package I'm surprised they've not offered more. Maybe for now just cancel the TV package and tell them you're looking at moving the BB as well. If that doesn't help then I would 100% move suppliers.1 -
I'm on VM but I've just checked and the MSE comparison site gives me the Sky 150Mbps service for the equivalent of £18.67 (£22 a month plus £80 credit)FluffyBuffster said:

Hell, it offers the 500Mbps service for the equivalent of £23.67 (£27 a month plus £80 credit).0 -
Called the number on the packaging, having been very effectively briefed by this thread! Turned down Stream and stated Signature+Sports on Q was what was required:Signature £24.00Sports £16.00Sports HD £2.00Total £42.00 (that was their first offer)Got offered Cinema for another £2.00, but turned it down. The base price of the above (before fixed discounts) was about £80, so that will be exposed to 2 price rises during the 24 month contract (adding in Cinema would bump that base cost up and expose it to the price rises).1

It was a yeah, forgot to mention about the admin fee of £10 which will be waived apparently. I recorded the call as a backup.
