I’m totally struggling with Sky atm. Currently paying £131 per month but my offers end on 26 Aug so it’s going up to a dizzying £162 pm. I’m in contract to Feb 27. They will not renegotiate the offers unless I take Sky Glass which I really don’t want. I’ve been a customer for over 15years. I take it there’s nowt I can do but suck it up? Any advice appreciated!
Only thing you can do is if your are not in a fixed term/contract for certain things like movies, sport or the like is to is to cancel them.

You have another 6 months of high price's or so what I suggest.

Why has your discount ended when you have still got 6 to go?

Also can you post what you are pat for on here because £162 is a hell of a lot per month.

According to the poster he is in contract til Feb '27 ie 18 months left ? Something isn't right as that would mean he only recontracted in Feb this year ??
Hi there, and thanks for replying.
Apparently, I did renew in Feb 25 but I cannot remember doing it but the only thing I changed was upgrading my Broadband. I cannot find any paperwork relating to this new contract.  I was shocked myself when I realised  that the offers ended this month, 18ths shy of the contract date. I had the offer end dated diarised to renegotiate so it was a nast shock to discover that they were to end way before the end of the contract.
     My package is:
    Broadband £38,
    Signature £40 disc of £5 to feb27
    Ultimate tv £4.50
    Netflix prem £13.49
Sky Sports £34 disc of £5 to Feb 27
    Sky Cinema £13
    Sports HD £6 discount £4
    SkyHD £9
    Multiscreen £15 - one minibox
    Ultra HD £4

you will always be rich enough to be generous.

Try not to take this the wrong way but do you have any memory issues or other health problems that causes you to not remember things?

If you don't then Sky must have added a contract without you fully knowing what you were agreeing to.

Go to your online accor mysky app and see if your contract is there. Also check old emails from Sky.

What yo are paying is well over the top.

If you can't find these contracts or email's I would call Sky asap and find out what is going on and if still no good lodge a complaint.

Thanks for replying. I have checked on MySky account, the last contract for SkyQ/tv is back in 2024. As I said, I upgraded my broadband to Full Fibre in Feb 25 and the contract and correspondence is there. I think you are right so I’m going to phone them today to ask for copies of the contract. I actually do have problems with anxiety and mental health and I’m on medication for that. No offence taken!

Have spoken to Sky - apparently when I upgraded my Broadband in Feb 2025 this triggered a new contract not only for the BB but the TV package too. I didnt realise that. The discounts I already had were not extended in line with the new contract, hence the reason they are finishing earlier than the contract end date. Do you think it's worth raising a complaint?

On your new contract for Broadband have you read all of it incase the TV new contract is buried in that contract.

How did you upgrade by phone or online chat?

I have not heard of people upgrading broadband being forced to have their TV package updated to a new 2 year minimum term contract but then again this is Sky.

Yes I would call up again and try to speak to someone who knows what is going on and complain and try and get them to listen to the call in February and or the online chat and if possible to send you a copy.

Also you could try and go to forum sky or sky forum where customers get help on all Sky matters. The site is nothing to do with Sky though but very helpful.

Just to update the sky help link.

    Good luck with that!

I only have tv but the dates are all over the place. I have a signature discount until March 27, another signature discount until June 27 and a HD discount until September 2108.

Sky have "form" in trying to tie the two things together eg last time I renewed TV only deal , the agent said he could get me an "unbeatable deal on fibre b/band " based on the recontract.
I declined as I knew my b/band deal with Plusnet still had a time to run, altho I wouldn't have the two tied together anyway.
I agree with the preceding comment re dates - my Sports HD date is 2108 and the Sky Go date ,2107 !!!

Just made first call to Sky and on notice period.

What should I be aiming for price wise for the following:-

    Sky Signature
    Sky Ultimate
    HD
    Netflix premium

We also currently have multi room & cinema but hardly use them but would also be interested in target price with those included.
