So you got those 2 as a package for £25 and nothing else?gt94sss2 said:As a data point for others, we recently renewed
Sky Signature - £20.50
Netflix (with ads) - £4.500 -
Yes. Not that I negotiated very hard but have some here ask about relatively "basic" packages .MeteredOut said:

Not really a haggling success, but maybe of interest anyway. My Sky TV 18 month minimum contract period ends this October.Currently paying £22/month just for signature (on Sky+), made of £40 - £18 discount. I was paying £18.50/month until recently, made of £36.50 - £18 discount. In My Sky under 'Next Predicted bills' earlier this month I could see the bill for October was showing as somewhere between £22 and £40, with only a pro-rata discount. But now it is showing October and November as £22, and the £18 discount has been extended to November 2026.Of course I guess I will see another price rise in April 2026.But at least I will be on a rolling contract, which could be useful as my broadband contract with Virgin Media ends early next year.0

I would call them up and ask for confirmation as predicted bills are just that.Detail_Merchant said:Not really a haggling success, but maybe of interest anyway. My Sky TV 18 month minimum contract period ends this October.Currently paying £22/month just for signature (on Sky+), made of £40 - £18 discount. I thought sky were doing away with sky + and sky are now only doing 24 month renewals or min term contracts and not 12 or 18 months.
Worth checking also on your online account for a new contract paperwork.0 -
The discount is explicitly showing a new end date in November 2026.Boohoo said:

If the price goes up before then I will give them 31 days notice to quit, but I quite like the idea of being on rolling contract, so I think I'll just let things slide while they are charging £22.
I looked in my online account, but it's never shown contract paperwork in there, and still doesn't.
Last time I renewed they wanted to push me to Sky Q, but the person I spoke to said they had a way round that, which was to agree a deal as if it was Sky Q, then cancel the engineer appointment to install it.
To be fair to them it worked, and my account still shows that I have Sky+
I have also heard that they are offering 24 month contracts now, rather than the 18 months they always offered before. Another reason not to contact them while things are ok, as I'm not really keen to lock in for that long.
Of course if the Sky+ box fails then I'll probably have to go to Sky Q.
Interestingly, in My Sky under "Your products" if I scroll down, it says "Your Sky TV contract ends soon" and "Your bill will change but we can help." with a button to "Review offer".
Clicking the button takes me to an offer for 24 months for £44.50/month (saving £5/month) for signature and HD!
They point out that accepting the offer that way saves me a £20 admin fee.
No way am I going for that. Rolling £22 works for me, and no hassle of trying to talk to Sky.0 -
On My sky app log in and tap top left icon go to my documents and then go to Contracts under My messages and they should be there.Detail_Merchant said:

All that matters is if you are happy to pay what you are paying then that's ok even if some are getting it for less or are paying more than you .0 -
Yes, just gone there and it says "Nothing to see here..." and "You don't have any contracts right now." - it's always been like that. Maybe because I've been a Sky customer since 2001, and the original contract pre-dates them being available online.Boohoo said:On My sky app log in and tap top left icon go to my documents and then go to Contracts under My messages and they should be there.
I was braced to give my 31 days notice in September, a month before my minimum contract ended, planning to get signature for a bit under £20. But it's tempting just to pay the £22 a month until early next year, and review the situation then. It's always been a bit annoying that my broadband (VM) and TV (Sky) were out of sync, so maybe now I can get them in sync, and see if a combined deal is worth it. Would be even better if OpenReach would do FTTP in my area.Boohoo said:All that matters is if you are happy to pay what you are paying then that's ok even if some are getting it for less or are paying more than you .0 -
I have just cancelled sky tv. I was with them for 16 years but really wasn't happy with the price they offered me. If the contract does now lapse but I then phone them to restart it do I lose my platinum level does anybody know?
Thank you in advance.0 -
My advice is to walk away. I used to have signature SD, netflix and mutli room for £56 a month. I have exactly the same now for £10.98 (netflix £5.99 and Now £4.99) and get HD by default. As you can watch on any TV you don't need multi room. I missed the Sky interface at first but with freesat I still get live TV anyway.1
