    Currently, you are paying £78.50 per month, but this will increase to £96.50 once the offers expire. To help manage your costs, we have the following new offers available:

    - £8 off Sky Signature, bringing it to £32.50 per month.
    - £7 off Complete Sky Sports, bringing it to £27 per month.
    - £1 off Multiscreen, bringing it to £14 per month.
    - Your current offer of £2 off HD will remain, at £7 per month.

    With these new offers, your total monthly cost would be £80.50. These offers are available for 24 months and come with a new 24-month minimum term. Please note there is a one-off £10 admin fee, which will be automatically applied to your next bill should you choose to accept.

    Hand in your 31 days notice and make no attempt to contact them during that time, once the service has gone off for a hour phone them up, you won’t lose any recordings etc doing this, you should be paying around £55 give or take for that package.

    I can't do that - my account is under Priority Customers - so I don't get any flexibility !
    So you maybe a serial complainer or a troublemaker according to this link.

    Or you could be a with a different Priority team at Sky.

    No - I am a 23 year Platinum VIP Customer who happens to be disabled so of course Sky decided to put me under the "protective shield" of Priority Customers - without informing me !!
    This of course means that I am subject to all of the usual price hikes without the ability to escape...
    So what happens if you do online chat or call the normal regular team? Do the transfer you to priority team?

    when I complained - I was given an option - "leave if you are unhappy"

    Sky have closed some UK call centres this year and laid off UK staff, so that's most likely the reason you're finding it practically impossible to get through to a UK based call centre:

    and

    I'm sure they've done it so that they can reduce their already obscenely ridiculous package prices.. Concast will never get another penny out of me. Ever.

    thanks for this info, I agreed to a new 2 year deal with sky on Monday but decided to exercise my cooling off period to withdraw from this contract and also hand in my 31 days notice to cancel my sky tv, its taken me almost 2 hours and spoke to 5 different people before someone understood what I was asking to do, a very frustrating experience, if sky want me back as a customer they're going to have to offer me a deal cheaper than the £86.50 I posted on page 733 when my sky turns off on 16th august, will let the thread know what happens when the time comes

    Last year I let our sky contract end as the retention deals were awful. 1 day later called them back they said they can give an even bigger discount as I had still not sent back the Sky Q boxes / additional tv boxes.

    That was my plan this year, I cancelled the tv with 2 weeks to go before renewal. I got a call yesterday from the retentions team and was able to secure:

    It's not the cheapest on here but it keeps me on Sky Q with everything I want. (1 Q Box and 2 Extra boxes)

    I can't see anything positive with moving to Sky Stream, I was told Sky Q is no longer offered full stop so did not want to risk lapsing the contract and them trying to force me across!

    • Calling via 150 directly from your Sky landline is free and usually quickest.

    • Non-Sky landline or mobile users should use 0333 759 1234, which offers standard UK call rates and support throughout the week.

    • If one line is busy, 0333 759 1018 is another active support line.

    Eeek, I've just called SKY and called their bluff and started the cancellation process after 25 years.  I'd like to stay with them but I'm not prepared to if they don't lower costs.

    I currently have SKY Q with signature, HD and broadband (I'm very happy with this) and would even be keen to add Netflix (with ads).

    From Sept, they were saying my bills would be;
    SKY Signature - 31.50
    HD - £8.00
    Broadband - 34.00
    Total - £73.50

    I've just called for the first time to haggle and they've offered me;
    SKY signature - 29.50
    HD - £9.00
    Netflix with ads - £4.50
    Broadband - 32.00
    Total - 75.00

    I'd be happy paying around £62.50 for what I want - do you think I'm being unrealistic? do I have any hope of them calling me back with a better offer?
