Just done the dance with sky again.
would have liked just the q essentials (freesat) but all they would offer is £15 a month and £5 for multiroom.
wife would want netflix but would have to do that direct so she advised which is 12.99 no ads (total £32.99)
so had to go for signature at £28.50, netflix no ads at £8.50, multiroom at £10 (total £47)
personally i hate paying £28.5 for no eurosport.
also why do they always have to do an admin fee
oh well as they say happy wife happy life.hahahahaha (she loves the rubbish channels)
lets see what happens in 24 months0 -

I read somewhere that Netflix are or have put up UK subs so will your deal stay the same for 2 years for Netflix?reefer37 said:Just done the dance with sky again.

just spoke to someone on the phone now and they couldn't extend the contract to 18 months instead of 12 and she also couldn't get me the additional £3 off for the TNT. So now I have to decide if its worth going through the cancellation route to see if I can get it any cheaperFUrake said:yeh, if you take off the £31 from TNT the rest of my package does seem a pretty fair price, I might give them a quick call and see if they can give me £3 off the TNT to match my last contract but if not its not a big deal really, also might see if they can extend the contract to make it 18 months rather than 12, will let the thread know what happens after the call, cheers1 -

Let it switch off and see what they offer.
Only you know if it is worth cancelling and paying what they offer you. It's a gamble you have to take.0 -

Sky no longer offer18 month contracts, they are all now 24 months, the £3 off TNT is usually the bog standard in contract discount, so taking a guess I suspect it’s the fact they extended your previous deal by only 12 months that’s complicating things, the only way to get a decent TNT deal is fully cancelling and allowing your Sky to go off for a hour or two, I did this last month and mine is £20, in your situation I am not sure I would bother as the rest of your deal is a cracking price that they may not match, I am only paying £4 less than you for the same package despite having a good TNT deal.FUrake said:

            Hi all!
Just doing the Sky Dance, however unusual because I got out my Sky Stream contract after 6 months (it’s
awful!)
I haven’t had any calls/emails/letters etc. - is that because I’m early termination rather than lapsed?
Went on website to look at skyq, gives me technical error as soon as I login, so went onto chat, they’re saying the below for 1TB UHD box (but looks like sport is in HD only?). Seems very expensive ??
“I can help you with the best deal for the sky stream for you however for the Sky Q the best I can do for you is £54.50 for the Sky Signature and Sky Sports Complete package “
Then I said I’ll leave it and they just said
”Ihonestly appreciate your custom, if I could make it any cheaper I would not keep the offer with me, makes no sense to lose a potential customer like you.
I would suggest you to contact to our dedicated team on call on - 03442411653or 03337591018.
They will look for the options to retain your business”Second one seems to be retentions, will it just be the same deals or anyone got anything better? They kept offering Sky Glass and Stream but not interested in either.0 -
sounds very similar to the chat speak i had
”Ihonestly appreciate your custom, if I could make it any cheaper I would not keep the offer with me
guess this is script or AI
good luck1 -
I'd hope that sentence was AI and not written by a human!

Currently, you are paying £78.50 per month, but this will increase to £96.50 once the offers expire. To help manage your costs, we have the following new offers available:
- £8 off Sky Signature, bringing it to £32.50 per month.
- £7 off Complete Sky Sports, bringing it to £27 per month.
- £1 off Multiscreen, bringing it to £14 per month.
- Your current offer of £2 off HD will remain, at £7 per month.
With these new offers, your total monthly cost would be £80.50. These offers are available for 24 months and come with a new 24-month minimum term. Please note there is a one-off £10 admin fee, which will be automatically applied to your next bill should you choose to accept.
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.0
