    Re-contracted at the following prices:

    Netflix basic with adds: £4.50
    Sports: £11
    Cinema: £13
    HD: £4

£58 pm. They would not waive the £20 admin fee even though at the end of the month I go diamond.

Without the Cinema its £52 pm (sport goes up to £18).

Sky VIP for 25 years and they wouldn't budge on the "deal" they offered me.

My cancellation was due to take effect tomorrow.

Moved to the Sky Q essential TV option in the end (not the same as the sky stream essentials TV package) - £15 a month rolling contract for FTA channels and recording option.
I did an online chat again this morning, with a view to rejecting the Essential TV completely and just cancelling.  They then offered me £5 a month for 12 months to keep Essential TV, OR, if i wanted to recontract for 24 months

    Sky Signature £24.50
    Netflix Std (no ads) £10.99
    HD Pack £6.00

So £41.49 for next 12 months at least

Offered to save me another 50p a month on my broadband service if i switched to Sky Broadband, but i declined it

    For signature I was paying £18.50/month = £36.50 list price - £18 discount.
From April onwards the list price just for Signature is going up to £40.50 so less £18 discount that's £22.50.
So effectively a 21% increase on the net price!

I'm in a minimum contract period until October, but I don't think I will renew at that price when it ends, as most of the TV we watch is FTA or streaming services.

P.S. It looks like the HD pack is staying at £9/month.

I just checked my predicted bills in My Sky again today, and Signature is back showing as £36.50 (or £18.50 net of my £18 discount) for April, May and June.
Not sure why Sky have removed the price rise, and of course it could re-appear before the bills actually happen, but potentially good news for now.
Would be interested to hear if anyone else's increases have gone or reduced?

I cancelled at beginning of March as sick of price increases and contract ends on 1 April according to Sky app, but I have noticed there are future bills showing for £5 each and confused why? Has anyone else had this or knows what it means? Screenshots below 1st showing its cancelled from 1 April, second that the next 3 future bills will be £5 each and 3rd showing what the £5 relates to, which is Sky Go?

Re the above post - looks like the "system" is proposing charging you for Sky Go Extra as your discount for that ends on 1st April. Obviously it won't happen as you can't have any flavour of Sky Go without the basic package.

I've renewed mine last week and the next two future bills match what the advisor said, but the others are about £10 per month more than agreed. She said to leave it until after April when it will correct itself so I'm not worrying just yet.

I've been a customer for 30 years & used to haggling every few years with Sky & even put up with bills higher than promised once or twice, but enough is enough this time.  I'm in a rural area where there's limited Internet, but Virgin just released faster broadband in the area. My package has been £116 for all TV including movies and sports, Sky Q with three mini boxes & broadband about 70mps. Virgin offer the same deal minus a home phone (we have mobiles anyway) but 130mps and an Ipad for £108. So I asked what Sky could do.  I was offered £137 per month! What a remarkable insult.  A £20 INCREASE when Virgin are offering a cracking deal.  It makes me genuinely sad as shows how little value there is for Sky customers.  I'm not going to leave it until last minute (like I often have in the past), because I need to sort the replacement package & frankly because I feel completely insulted.  I've never felt particular care or love from Sky, but never been made to feel that I'm just a cash cow for them before.  Goodbye Sky & hello Virgin.
