So I had Signature, Movies, HD and Netflix - offer = £47 = £564 pa + inflationary rise in April,
24 month contract. Did what I have outlined below and said 'no'.
Disney+ costs £90 p.a. approx
Netflix costs £132 p.a. "
Amazon Prime £95 p.a. "
AppleTV £107 p.a. "
Sum = £424
Caveat not factored in price rises and looked at annual payments other than netflix
With Sky if you do not have Sports you are paying over the odds for a really good intuitive interface. For families this is probably worth the price. Why should Stream be much less than Q ?The costs to Sky would be the same (once the customer has the box) - the satellite signal would cost Sky the same (fractions of a penny per day/week whatever)
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.0 -

My contract has just come up for renewal - and of course I forgot, so my latest bill has gone full whack - £168.50!!
With offers we were on about £113 per month - which is still ridiculous. That does include pretty much every package with multiroom and ultra HD, plus broadband.
It really annoys me that A, Sky don't send out a kind email reminder that next month your offers are ending, and B, that they treat NEW customers better than loyal, long lasting customers. Its crazy that to reward us for being with them for so long, we actually get fleeced out of so much more money!
Anyway, tomorrow is the call to customer services and a bit of a moan and rant - I will report back any savings (if any!!)
Ryan.
- Sky Signature - £22.50
- Ultimate inc Netflix no ads £11.50
- Complete Sky Sports £22
- Sky Cinema £10
- Sports HD £2
- HD £5
- Multiroom £13
- Broadband £40
Total of £126 per month

I've been with Vodafone for my mobile for probably 20 + years now, and every year they send me a reminder to say that my contract is ending and how I can SAVE MONEY upon renewal!
Thats what we need!0 -
Just got offered the following:
- Signature - £19.50
- Netflix - £11.50
- Sky Sports - £10
- Cinema - £6
- HD - £4
- UHD - £1
- Multiroom - £10
That's decent, but I don't like the 24m contract so 2 price increases (which they also stated is based on the original not-discounted price).
Mine is scheduled to go off in a couple of weeks, is this the best it will get?0 -
Ok so i cancelled a couple of weeks back, got a text today and asked to contact them, went onto live chat i was paying £46.50 as my previous deal, ended last month which was for SkyQ Signature , HD and Multiroom, i accepted the offer below , the admin fee was £20 but reduced to £10 , i chipped away at there best offer of £37.50 to £33.50 a month which i’m happy with
Signature is normally £36.50, but you'll pay £19.50(with an 24-month contract) This offer is for 24-months.
Sky (Q) Multiscreen is normally £15, but you'll pay £10(with an 24-month contract) This offer is for 24-months.
Sky HD is normally £9, but you'll pay £4. This offer is for 24-months.
Sky Ultimate TV Netflix Standard with Ads is for £4.50 (2 Screens) but you'll pay £0. This offer is for 4-months.
Discovery+ at no extra charge to Sky TV Subscribers across Sky Q, Saving £6.99 a month.
It brings your total to £33.50 a month. Goes back to the standard cost after 24 months contract total package price is £65(without offers). Your offers will start today. A one-off admin fee of £10 will be added to your next bill.

Have another week or so left before the end of my contract on TV and Broadband with Sky
The broadband is Sky Broadband superfast inc pay as you talk on a Landline
The TV is Sky Signature with Multi room, no Cinema, no Sport
BT finally got around to installing Full Fibre in my area this year so I would want to upgrade to take advantage of faster speed.
The cost had crept up over 18 months from 51 to 59 quid
When I called to cancel I was offered same TV with their 900 Full Fibre package for £64.50 with the landline.
I declined this offer, then got an email and text saying Sky had an exclusive offer for me !!. When I called back, was told the offer was for what I already had no upgrade on the broadband for £55.50. The caller did not want to negotiate and simply stated they were "the last chance saloon" ??
Am I being a little unrealistic to try and push for a price under or around £50 ? as in 3 or 4 months, Sky will charge another £5
I have never waited until the end of the contract, but I had some joy with my mobile in the summer.
Fingers crossed0 -

It's also got to have the satellite signal decoder circuitry as well as the internet-based services.Me, I wouldn't have an internet-only service, so Stream is an irrelevance anyway.
