I am kicking myself as I just went for the first offer Sky offered me, I should always remember to try and haggle further. So anyway, I just got a deal of out of contract £45.50 down to £29.50 for 24 months, no admin fee. They were offering me £5 off immediately online, so not contacting customer service, which would have reduced it to £40.50 at the click of a button, but I wanted less, so used Live Chat and got it down to £29.50, but presumably this will go up in April as it mentioned "price may go up" in the small print. I only have Sky Signature and HD element, nothing else.

Wow - You guys all have it lucky!
My contract has just come up for renewal - and of course I forgot, so my latest bill has gone full whack - £168.50!!
With offers we were on about £113 per month - which is still ridiculous. That does include pretty much every package with multiroom and ultra HD, plus broadband.
It really annoys me that A, Sky don't send out a kind email reminder that next month your offers are ending, and B, that they treat NEW customers better than loyal, long lasting customers. Its crazy that to reward us for being with them for so long, we actually get fleeced out of so much more money!
Anyway, tomorrow is the call to customer services and a bit of a moan and rant - I will report back any savings (if any!!)

When I renewed my contract 18 months ago I was complimented on my 'loyalness' and got reduction because of it. Not this time. Implicated it made absolutely no difference at all how long been with Sky.
Have had a txt to call them but actually already switched Sky Box off and viewing through my TV. Really not tempted to go back.0 -
I don't think they are offering deals to Sky Q customers because they want them gone. If you look on the sky site you'll struggle to get sky Q as a new customer they are pushing sky stream0

I'm feeling neglected - they've stopped sending me their (not particularly) fabulous come-back offers.

So I had Signature, Movies, HD and Netflix - offer = £47 = £564 pa + inflationary rise in April,
24 month contract. Did what I have outlined below and said 'no'.
Disney+ costs £90 p.a. approx
Netflix costs £132 p.a. "
Amazon Prime £95 p.a. "
AppleTV £107 p.a. "
Sum = £424
Caveat not factored in price rises and looked at annual payments other than netflix
With Sky if you do not have Sports you are paying over the odds for a really good intuitive interface. For families this is probably worth the price.0
