Will try again this week on text maybe but after years of the merry dance looks like I will finally have to cancel for an offer I can live with.
Cheers

Wow some of the deals here are so much better than anything I’ve been offered. I had my 2nd go at renegotiating with them yesterday and got absolutely nowhere. Out of contract my fee has gone up to £175.50 which is simply outrageous. First call (a week ago) got me a £5 discount and I hung up. Yesterday got offered £141/month for the following
- Signature £25.50 (Usually £36.50)
- Sky Sports HD £22 (Usually £39)
- TNT Sports £27 (Usually £30)
- Sky HD £4 (Usually £4)
- Ultra HD £1 (Usually £4)
- Netflix Premium No Ads £11.50 (Usually £15.50)
- Broadband Ultrafast Plus £50 (Usually £53)
- Line Rental £0
- Sky Pay As You Talk £0
I could get rid of the TNT Sports, but other than the UHD, I can get the same package from BT online for £128, which I mentioned several times. It was very apparent that the guy had no interest in matching it, for which I said I would sign up immediately.
I’ve now cancelled everything after reading some of the posts here, so let’s see if a better offer comes along.
Any suggestions out there for any steps I should consider? Thanks

Any suggestions out there for any steps I should consider? Thanks£175 per month - just to watch TV - They have to be joking - I remember when there were just 3 TV channelsA TV licence (all that you paid - NO subscription) was less than £50 for 12 months0 -

Switched off yesterday, called the winback team and have agreed the below, unfortunately 24 month contract and two increases, unlikely to be more than 10% as if it’s more you have the right to cancel and exit the contract.
hopefully it may be of some use to someone else in negotiating, their offers kick in on a Friday apparently.
Signature. £20Multi room. £5 - two boxes
Sport inc HD £8 + £2
Netflix. £4.50
HD. £5
Movies. £9
Total £53.50
Quoted £50.50 without movies, taking movies and sport give better discounts
I was paying £56 without movies up until yesterday. Fully expected an increase, but still paying less including movies. Was switched on as a soon as I agreed the prices, so overall 12 hours without it.
Thanks to all that has gone before and posting their sucesses!0 -
Is this any good considering the 24-month term and two price rises to come?
- Signature £20.50
- Cinema £6
- Sky HD £4
- Ultra HD £1
Thanks and some people have managed to get some pretty stacked packages from Sky.0 -

yep I certainly can, 0333 2022 135, you have to say “win back team” when asked who you want to speak to. They won’t help though if you’ve not been cut off, they are Leeds based I think.
Hope it’s of some help.3 -
Having given notice have received email offering sky signature and sports for £37.50 a month. Have to ring or chat to get that will leave it a week so if anything better offered but happy with that0

Called on 03337 594 840 (in response to a Sky text) and ended up with Sky
Signature
Sports HD
Cinema and Paramount +
HD
For £45.50 but I have to pay £20 up front (I don't know quite why). To be quite honest, I am reasonably happy with the price even tho there will be 2 increases during the 2 year contract. I was due to be switched off on 22nd Aug.
What do you think?
