I have Sky Q.  Re Netflix I had it with my previous Sky Q package with no ads.  After I cancelled I was advised it was £4.50 with ads and £10.50 with no ads.  After haggling Live Chat stated they were giving me "Netflix Standard plan without ads at £8.50 normally at £10.50 with Sky.  I did have to link Netflix to my Sky account.  After accepting the deal I noticed on my future bills it was showing Ultimate TV Pack £4.50 Boost to Netflix Standard £6.00, so £10.50.  Contacted them to have a moan and my bills were adjusted and strangely came down to £60 from £63.  Looks like they shaved off the discount from elsewhere rather than Netflix price but I can confirm I am paying for Netflix to Sky with Sky Q although I am a long term customer.

That's how it works with Sky Q, we use our sons Netflix account but it's billed on my Sky bill. If I ever cancel it, it will go back to charging the son directly.

I was told by Priority customers
"Netflix is only available on Sky Glass or Sky Stream as part of the Sky Ultimate TV subscription.

As you have Sky Q this is not part of this subscription that comes as standard with ads.

Netflix comes included as part of the base package with Glass or Stream, whereas it is an extra chargeable (aka Ultimate TV) with Sky Q. The base package for Sky Q is Signature which does not include Netflix.
Maybe the Sky customer support person was confused.
It seems strange for them to turn down extra money from you for Netflix, if that was what you were offering.
Or were you trying to argue that your existing package should include Netflix for no extra cost?
I don't believe it was confusion on Sky's part TBH, your last sentence is the correct answer.

"If you already have a Netflix account, you have the option to link it to your Sky account, once it's been activated. Netflix will continue to charge you separately until you link that account. For any queries regarding your billing with Netflix prior to linking it to your Sky account, please contact Netflix."

That's the important part and there is a reason the OP has to use the priority team only.
  • Made my first attempt at a new deal. £55 for Sig + Sports. Seems to reflect what people have been saying on here. Will try again this week on text maybe but after years of the merry dance looks like I will finally have to cancel for an offer I can live with.

    Cheers
2nd attempt offered £48.50 which is not up to to some standards on here but I'm happy with that. Also managed to get my dad the same deal.

    Cheers

    Sky Signature £20.50
    Netflix Premium £11.50
    Sky kids £0
Sky Sports - Complete pack £10
    Sky Cinema £13
Sky Sports HD + HD £4
    Multiscreen £10
    Ultra HD £1

They phoned back today and told me the best they could do was £78. When I told them they phoned on Sunday and offered a lower price, they magically said £72.50 again but when I asked for a breakdown and they give me this which equals £70! I’d be happy to pay that.
Managed to get a 24 month contract for £68 for everything above after receiving a call tonight. Initially confirmed it was £70 but after I raised the concern about having to go through two April increases (as it was always an 18 month contract before), the gentleman offered to drop it to £68, which I didn’t even ask for. Quite happy with that. I don’t have a breakdown of each deal but I’m happy to post it when I receive it!
Looks like you have a great deal here. Discounts seem to be applied differently from person to person, but the headline figure you have achieved is good for both sports and cinema with Netflix premium and multiscreen
  • Long time lurker here!

Finally cancelled sky. Didn't receive one email, call or text with any offers during the 31 days,  marketing all on
Switched off yesterday, called the winback team and have agreed the below, unfortunately 24 month contract and two increases, unlikely to be more than 10% as if it’s more you have the right to cancel and exit the contract.
hopefully it may be of some use to someone else in negotiating, their offers kick in on a Friday apparently.
    Signature.       £20
Multi room.     £5 - two boxes
    Sport inc HD   £8 + £2
    Netflix.            £4.50
    HD.                 £5
    Movies.           £9

    Total                £53.50
Quoted £50.50 without movies, taking movies and sport give better discounts
I was paying £56 without movies up until yesterday. Fully expected an increase, but still paying less including movies. Was switched on as a soon as I agreed the prices, so overall 12 hours without it.
Thanks to all that has gone before and posting their sucesses!

Good deal that.  You are right about getting better deals with both Sport & Movies it seems these days.  Plus in my case anyway they throw in Paramount + for nothing which is decent enough.
