Many thanks for the above link. Have gone with Essentials for £5 for 12 months and no set up fee. Very happy with that.Jan Grocery challenge

£5 per month for Essentials - is that available without having Sky broadband and for the older Sky HD boxes, not Sky Q ?chocolatepennyfarthing said:Many thanks for the above link. Have gone with Essentials for £5 for 12 months and no set up fee. Very happy with that.0 -
I don’t have broadband but have a Sky Q box. They wanted to charge £15 for it first but I said I wasn’t happy to pay that as I knew that it was being offered for £5. Also waivered the £10 one off fee they initially wanted to charge.Jan Grocery challenge

Thanks for the info. It's a great price as I have previously paid £10 per month for activating the recording facility and Freeview only channels.chocolatepennyfarthing said:I don’t have broadband but have a Sky Q box. Did they contact you after your contract had expired as that's when they come up with the best offers.0 -
They had sent me the packaging to send box back as contract finished last week. Best offer before that was about £23 for Signature package. I used the link that Grav15 posted for online chat.Jan Grocery challenge

To Grav15 for the hd to go to £0 was that 2 weeks after giving notice to cancel or 2 weeks after disconnected.0

Just had the dreaded email stating that Signature is going up £2.50 and Ultrafast 150Mbps BB by another £3.00 a month from the July payment. I'm going to try the 'friends & family' route as I know someone whose partner works at Sky as the price has got ridiculous now and the BB at least has a get out clause due to the rise.0

Struck a deal for:
Signature £22.50
Sky Sports in HD £14
Sky Cinema £10
Sky HD £5
£51.50 total, they would not budge on the £20 admin fee for heaven or earth.
