I would love to take this offer! They aren’t offering me a discount on Netflix or free UHD/HD.

Just had another chat with Sky.  Best he could offer was

Signature is normally £36.50, but you'll pay £24.50 (with an 18-month contract) This offer is for 18 months
Sky Sports in HD is normally £39, but you'll pay £24 (with an 18-month contract) This offer is for 18 months
Sky Cinema is normally £19, but you'll pay £10. This offer is for 18 months
Sky HD is normally £9, but you'll pay £5 This offer is for 18 months
Sky Ultimate TV (Netflix Standard with Ads) is normally £4.50, This offer is for 18 months.
It brings your total to £68 a month A one-off admin fee of £10 will be added to your next bill.
The best part is the deal which I have quoted you above is including the yearly the price increase amount.
Just so you know, all our offers are correct today but can change.

Without giving any information of course as to where I found Grav's quote I asked the rep how I could get this deal, merely giving him the workings.  He replied.

I just had a check and the above offers are with HD and UHD free for 3 months and £9 and £4 once the offer ends after 3 months respectively. Also the Sky Cinema offer is for 6 months. After the 6 months it goes to £13 a month and the Sky Signature is a discount with the price protection offer.
And the Netflix Premium is £11.50 in total which even you can be offered to.

If you compare these offers comparatively you still save more because all the offers offered to you are for the whole 18 months which means you do not have to get back and check for offered and be rest assured about the same.

No idea if he is right or not but Grav15, it might be worth double checking that great offer of yours in case it's not what you were expecting.

Thanks for posting that. The information about the short term discounts is extremely useful.
It’s basically an if sounds too good to be true situation and one I’ll take seriously before and after my switch off in 2 weeks from now.

No problem at all,. Hope I didn't do anything wrong by using that quote asking Sky and didn't want to step on Grav15's toes but Sky can be a bit cheeky at times. Other day they offered me £78pm on what I already have for £55 then suddenly offered £68.  Think my best bet is the cancellation period, certainly they don't seem to be going lower than £68 at the minute.

    Hello.

Not true. They would have to access my account to be sure.
Was via Scottish rentention with a few calls.

  • My contract ended 18th April and received package to return box today, states must be returned by 16/06/24.  just wondering if this is standard practice ? Was hoping to get Signature for cheaper than £23 they were offering.

Great that you got it.  They may be a tad more stingy in England!
