I accepted a deal yesterday, was told that their manager was in a good mood so I had a special discount. It's free from price increase.

I think includes everything except sport & BB (just signed with Onestream 80 @ £20.00/m (with £69 cashback tracked through Quidco))

After seeing other's deals, I may have been a bit hasty.

Do you mind if I ask if you were out of the minimum term of your contract when you called to get this offer.

I was 2 weeks into my cancellation period, 2 weeks to go to disconnect. Mrs T won't go without it and would be willing to pay full price. I could live happily without it.

This is our scenario too - my husband would be happy with the freeview channels & his firestick, but I ‘need’ the pause/rewind/record & multiroom functionality 😜
At least we’ve now re-contracted & can now forget Sky haggling for 18 months 🙌

Hi All, I'm interested to know what deals people are getting for Sky Signature only (no BB)?
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

I'm on signature and super fast broadband.

    Signature is £31.40

    I did not negotiate broadband.
I had a cancellation in and got a call back to knock £15 off with a £10 admin fee

    So £16.40 a month.

My Sky contract ended on Jan 1st - they priced themselves out of the market with their increases.
i had a try out of just using terrestrial and web-based services, but it wasn't the greatest experience, including switching to the Firestick or AppleTV to watch things, signing in, etc. - all a bit disjointed.
Based on the TV/Firestick/AppleTV issues pus the annoyances of online on-demand services I decided I wanted to decide when to watch things and looked at Freeview recorders.
My Sky service was Sky Q, so I have the broadband LNBs which meant my options were pretty limited (unless I downgraded them), so I bit the bullet and went and bought a Freeview 2TB recording box, which allows me to record stuff to watch at my leisure or even just if I think it might be interesting sometime; it also has the mainstream apps in-situ so I'm not switching devices.
Overall, I'd say the Freeview box's user interface isn't quite as good as the Sky Q one, but it's not bad either.
So, no plans to go back to Sky.

    Well would you credit it?
I posted the above 4 days ago and today I received a comeback offer in the post!
£20 for Signature + £4 for HD (18 months, prices may will change, plus £10 admin fee).
So, £24/month where I was paying £33 and their best offer when I was cancelling was £29/month.
However, I've now bought the Freeview box, so the money is spent.

I'm looking to get something done today as my sky TV and Broadband is out of contract.

    I'm paying

    Signature - £31.40
    Broadband Super fast - £39.5
    Total = £70.90

I've called a few times but not getting anywhere near prices that are mentioned here.

Maybe as I haven't got HD. UHD, Sports, Cinema, multi room etc.

If I put in a 30 day notice for cancellation would that also affect my broadband or should I Sort broadband out separately?

I'm off work today so need to call them today.

How did you get on? I'm looking to do exactly the same today while I have a day off too.

Can't find a single option for Live Chat. I prefer live chat as I have been promised so many things over the phone only for it to fall on its backside. With Live Chat I get a copy of what is said.

I've tried the mobile text option but keep getting a message to say:
'Hi, it's Sky. This contact option is currently not in use. To reach one of our experts, please visit online to find the correct details: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/contacting-sky'
I didn't get round to it as noone replied with. Suggestion.
I got round to calling tonight.

Spoke to someone in India first,
I asked to cancel TV and they say will try and get better price for me.

    Currently its SKY Q
    Signature - £31.40
    Superfast BB- £39.50
    Total - £70.90

In April this will rise to
    Signature - £35.45
    Superfast BB- £43.00
    Total - £78.45

The lady on the phone offered
    Signature - £31.50
    Superfast BB- £38.00
    Total - £69.50

I declined this and asked to cancel. She said she can put me through to someone else and it might be a wait - it was about 7:45pm.

The next lady was from the UK.
    She offered
    Signature - £25.45 + £10 admin
    Superfast BB- £34.00 +£10 admin
    Total - £59.45 +£20 admin
This is for 18 month contract and avoid April price rise.

I asked to think about it -its £10 less than what I pay now and they could not get rid of the admin fee. The admin adds £1.11 per month.

I commented that a new customer can get the phone and BB and TV for £39 - they said this is stream and I have Sky Q.

I will call tomorrow and put a cancellation in for TV and see how it goes after this.

I just got off the phone with them.

1st man was in India offered
    £63.50 total

then with Sky Cinema offered £64.

I declined and was put through to a lady in Scotland
    She offered me
    Signature - £24
    BB - £30
    Total - £54
    No admin fee
With a price freeze for April.

I declined this and put cancellation in for TV.

It will cancel on 20th March.

Lets see what  offers I get from here.
I had a call today from an 0800 number and said was they TV loyalty team.

I had a cancellation for TV and they made an offer of £15 off.
    Down to £19.

They could only take £5 off broadband so refused that as it's out of contract at the moment.

The man from Sheffield said he would have to put a £10 admin fee too.

So for 19 for signature and 39.50 for broadband.

I will call for the internet another day.

Had the email to confirm but it's at a lower rate.
This is not on the sky app yet

We're writing to confirm that you have agreed to take up the following fantastic offers:

    Sky TV

    £31.40
Discounted by £5.00 for 18 months
    -£5.00
Discounted by £10.00 for 18 months
    -£10.00
    £16.40

I called to get my Super fast Broadband sorted out.

    It's at £39.50
I spoke to a lady and was offered £27.50 with a £10 admin fee.
I told her I will check and come back to them as I need to see what other providers are offering.
I'm having a bit of a headache at the moment.

18 Feb - I put in cancellation of TV
    20 Feb - I get a call from Sky who - for Signature at £15 off. So for £31.40-£15= £16.40 + £10 Admin fee
I get an email to confirm this - for 18 months

I notice on the app and online that my Billing has been adjusted and a bill issued for this plus £10admin fee.

PLUS -  When I look at future billing I can not see any TV - just a charge for Broadband at £43.

I was going to call them today about this - but got a call from Retentions - saying I had put a cancellation in and they were calling about this. Initially they couldn't see the details - put on hold then say yes is a contract till Aug 2025 but at £19 and not £16.40. I need to speak to customer services to talk about the billing and why its not there - They gave a number assuring its a UK Line.

I called and spoke to Billing Team - overseas - Could help after 23minincluding being on hold while they check details put through to Values Team - overseas - who can not resolve-after 25mins they help by raising a case for technical support and  gave me a reference number -saying someone may contact me.

I don't know where I stand as I am looking at the email confirming Signature for £16.40 - but its not on their system and its not on billing.

I did ask values team guy about cutting BB cost - best he could do was -£5.  I'll try again on this later - Hopefully the TV gets sorted.

Just put a complaint in with sky. You have documented email evidence of the offer. The complaints team will ask for a copy of the email and then have the ability to honour it or beat it. This can take a few days, so just put the complaint in now.
