18 Feb - I put in cancellation of TV
20 Feb - I get a call from Sky who - for Signature at £15 off. So for £31.40-£15= £16.40 + £10 Admin fee
I get an email to confirm this - for 18 months
I notice on the app and online that my Billing has been adjusted and a bill issued for this plus £10admin fee.
PLUS - When I look at future billing I can not see any TV - just a charge for Broadband at £43.
I was going to call them today about this - but got a call from Retentions - saying I had put a cancellation in and they were calling about this. Initially they couldn't see the details - put on hold then say yes is a contract till Aug 2025 but at £19 and not £16.40. I need to speak to customer services to talk about the billing and why its not there - They gave a number assuring its a UK Line.
I called and spoke to Billing Team - overseas - Could help after 23minincluding being on hold while they check details put through to Values Team - overseas - who can not resolve-after 25mins they help by raising a case for technical support and gave me a reference number -saying someone may contact me.
I don't know where I stand as I am looking at the email confirming Signature for £16.40 - but its not on their system and its not on billing.
I did ask values team guy about cutting BB cost - best he could do was -£5. I'll try again on this later - Hopefully the TV gets sorted.
I will call them again this evening - just that with them having so many contact numbers - which is the right one to get through to them on0 -

After the price increase I'm paying a price of £57 per month for signature/sports/netflix/hd/UHD/netflix premium and multiroom.
So basically- same as you but minus cinema.0 -
In November 2023 I was given the following renewal deal, after cancelling and being sent the packaging to return the Sky Q box:
TV £42:
Sky Sig £15
Ultimate TV £6
Sky sports complete £12
Sky sports HD £2
Sky HD £5
Ultra HD £2
Sky Broadband Ultrafast £29.50
Total package £71.50
Prior to cancelling I'd been offered around £95.
I'd been on £67 before for the same package, so it wasn't brilliant negotiating only getting it down to £71.50 but I was OK with it. I've been paying that kind of amount for that kind of package for several years and didn't mind giving them a small pay rise.
I've now been advised of the April 1st increases: £3 extra for Broadband, making it £32.50, and £6.50 extra for the TV package making it £48.50. So that will be an overall increase of £9.50 making a total of £82.
My understanding is that I can't cancel the TV contract as a negotiating ploy, but I can cancel the broadband. Has anyone had any luck in renegotiating the entire package by cancelling the broadband?

So I’m out of contract with Sky, Foolishly since last October. Yesterday I received another “price increase “ letter that spurred me to act.I have
Sky signature £22.00
sky sports complete pack £20.00
Sky Sports HD £2.00
Disney Plus £10.99
total £54.99
I contacted them via live chat, and was given a re contract price of £57.99 Yes, £3.00 PM more with a £20 admin fee!
I mentioned that BT have a similar package without Disney+ for £43.00 PM 24 month contract and I have my BB with them already.
He wouldn’t budge so I asked to cancel and my contract ends 31st March.
However the wife won’t want to lose the Q BOX and in all honesty I can’t see me leaving them, however I’m not sure what is likely to happen next.
will they just let me go after 7 years?
will they try and ring me (can’t answer calls at work) or anything else?
I suppose I could leave it till 30th and stop it ending if needed?
many thanks0 -

To DJ1UK are you on the Q box as my sports hd full price is £6 not £4.
Also how did you get the deal precisely ie. They rang you or you rang Winback or whatever as live chat don’t give best deals and you disconnected for 1 day.1 -

Got two emails and a letter during cancellation period, contacted them on chat once to confirm the email offer + all additions price, but still higher than was paying so let it complete the cancellation. Received no phone calls during this time, even with marketing switched on.
Waiting 30 days then phoned on the same day the service was cut off. They asked if I wanted Stream, but weren't too pushy.

Just gone into cancellation period with Sky as the offers they had werent good enough. Interestingly they said if you cancel you arent allowed back for 18 months, I dont recall them saying that before. Has that always been the case or is that new? Just wondering whether if I left it to cancel and then called them back on the same day as has been mentioned above that would that still be allowed?0
