Called the main line, put through to Retentions. Useless, Couldn't offer me near the recent offers on here. And wouldnt let me speak to the winback team as "You need to have left us to speak to them". Cancelled and hoping for that callback everyone seems to get.

    Offer:
    Signature: £24
    Sky Sports: £20
    Sports HD: £6
Cinema: £9 (This one seemed ok)

Unfortunately didnt get a call from winback, and internet is running our in 2 days. So had to call back.

I did get a better offer, saving me money overall but the balance is really weird. I think the balance is weird due to internet running out soon and my obvious need to keep it!
    Signature - £18
    Sky Sports - £8
    Sky Sports HD - £2
    Sky Cinema - £12

Internet - £34.50 (Most other offers on this were around £27.50-£29.50 until now, but after pestering hard there's nothing he can do on this one and asked if I just want to progress with TV deals)

    ALL OK except cinema
VIP customers can get this for £8
That’s a crazy price for broadband
Agree when I did the renegotiation for my mate, in the end I called up to cancel his broadband part cos that’s price they were offering him and surprisingly (not) they managed to reduce it substantially.  Apparently there is separate broadband retention team, or that’s what they told me.  The Tv retention people don’t have much leeway on the BB price they claimed..
  • We have been Sky TV customers for as long as I can remember but must have cancelled briefly as my VIP status is only 14 years.  I love the Sky planner, Q box for recording and the F1 coverage. Last contract included Signature, Netflix, HD and Sports for £44pm which rose to £51pm in March.
I called a month before contract end and best the lady could do was £57. I wanted to move from BT to Sky BB and that was £29 so I said cancel.
A few days ago I had a text to call and build a package to help me stay. A lovely man offered my current TV package for £46pm or £48 with Cinema and £25 for BB (no mention of any admin charges). I wish I had accepted his offer then because today when I called, everything has increased TV is now £50 and BB £26 and a £20 admin fee.  I asked why the previous prices were no longer available to me and was told prices change daily.  Thought I would post to see if anyone else has had the same experience. On the one hand I will miss my Sky TV but on the other I will be £50pm and £20 fee better off.

Seems that Sky have now changed the way they offer Netflix with Sky Q which is up to £15 for Premium or £10 for Standard (Free Option is Netflix with Ads). Currently within our cancellation period of 30 days and the offers provided were ridiculous compared to what we have been paying (on the basis we mostly watch Netlflix, Disney etc). Have for now downgraded to TV Essentials for £5pm (with the option of multiroom for another £5) - No Contract.

Signature is normally £34, but you'll pay £16 (with an 18-month contract)
Sky Cinema is normally £19, but you'll pay £6 (with an 18-month contract)
Sky HD is normally £9, but you'll pay £6
Ultra HD is normally £4, but you'll pay £3
Netflix Premium without Ads is £15
Sky (Q) Multiscreen is normally £15, but you'll pay £8.50 (with an 18-month contract)
Paramount+ normally £6.99 but it's included with Sky Cinema at no extra cost

I got a similar quote on Wednesday.

I received a text message inviting me to access chat to discuss a "great option for me to stay with Sky" ......
Went through to chat to be offered the following
    Sky Signature £17
    HD £6
    UHD £1
    Sky Sports HD £16
    Netflix Premium £15
    Multiscreen £10
    Total £65

I notice (and it was mentioned) that a Netflix now reflects new pricing and expect this will make a deal more difficult.

But told them this was not at all attractive and keep cancellation in place

Had you actually cancelled or just not renewed?

If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

I cancelled a couple of weeks back. I get switched off early February. Sky sent me a text to tell me to "get in touch for some great offers to stay with Sky" - but as you can see the offer was more than I was paying.
I'm currently paying £40 per month for Signature, HD, Ultra HD, Netflix and multiroom.
I had cancelled Sky Sports after the F1 season and ended
  • The retention deals in here look far better than new customer offers - is there a trick to getting a decent deal if new to the platform?

I'd be looking for Sports, Netflix 'Standard' and multi-room. Looks to be £64 a month for that. HD would cost more!

My Sky is due to be switched off on 1st Jan; I've been running down my recorded content and have a couple of series left to watch before I'm done.
I've been a customer for many years (all of the century!), but I've paid my last bill; they got too greedy with their price hikes, so I'm stepping away.
I did get a lame attempt to keep me onboard when I called to cancel on 10th November at the end of my contract (ie. 1st Jan), but it didn't grab me.
(Incidentally, on my first call to cancel, the overseas operative told me that I had to cancel on the exact 1-month to go date, so I just "yeah, thanks"'d them and called again to get someone who knew what they were talking about.)
There's a current offer on my account offering renew of Signature for £26/month, compared to my current £24/month, and excluding HD; it says I'll save £144 over 18 months, but I think I'll take the option of saving £468 instead, along with a further £162 for HD, giving £630.

  • Just been onto sky regarding renewing my contract which expired a few weeks ago.
I was offered the below, is this a good deal ?
Sky signature £22.00 18 month contract
Sky HD £5.00 18 months no contract
    Sky Q multiscreen £14.00 18 month contract
    £41.00/month
    £10.00 admin fee
