My service stopped on the Sunday. I had received a TXT on this day saying to call them. Called them two days later on the Tuesday and I was signed up..
My full bill before re-signing was £93. After resigning 18month contract, I'm now paying £47.

I get the impression Sky's contract with Netflix changed at the beginning of December and now the standalone Premium option is a lot more expensive than the old Ultimate pack, and their ability to discount from that has been seriously reduced.

Annoyingly I could of potentially also been able to take advantage of that, as I gave them notice to cancel on the 23rd Nov, but they didn't actually properly record the fact (and immediately terminated my service as they could see the notes from the 23rd) on the 19th Dec after contacting them three times.

I've just agreed a new deal for my Sky.

I had cancelled approx 3 weeks ago and secured the below on chat after a couple of discussions.
    - Sky Signature standard cost is £34 but you'll pay just £17 a month (18 months contract)
    - Sky sports complete pack in HD standard cost is £38 but you'll pay £16 a month(for 18 month contract)
    - HD is normally £9 but you'll get it for £6
    - UHD is £4 but you'll pay £1
    - Multiscreen usually £15 but you'll pay at £2.50 (for 18 months contract)
    - Netflix Premium [4 screens] is normally £15 but you will pay £11
    Total: £53.50 per month.
This is £4.50pm cheaper than I was able to get down to today on chat from what I was told was the winback team (As my account was in Post Active Cancel status).
I was getting a slightly better price on Sports and HD (-£2/-£1; interestingly the complete sports pack was coming up cheaper than a single channel), but multi-screen and UHD offset that (+£6.50/+£1) - I had to fight a bit to get the £11 Netflix price. £10 admin fee (no mention of that being discounted; ignored request to drop it).

Didn't go for it as not sure I want a £9.50pm increase from what I was on (plus whatever happens in April) - Have until mid-Feb to return the kit, so shall probably try again later in the month - possibly dependent on whether I can find any deals on FreeView/Freesat boxes in the meantime.

Luckily my TV (not on purpose) has dual freesat tuners so with a quick hybrid LNB purchase haven't suffered with the loss of too many HD channels we watch and have some simple recording functionality - albeit not as nice to use as the SkyQ. Our 'holiday' firestick is doing a good job of replacing the SkyMini for Netflix/Prime/etc. on the 'old' bedroom TV - don't do too much cross room viewing of recordings thankfully.

I'm considering getting discovery+ to get Discovery/Eurosport (£7pm) back and will just have to accept the loss of live F1 I think.

I'm currently paying £86 for Sky TV.  This includes Sports, Movies, Netflix, Multiroom etc.  My contract finishes today.  Just called Sky and the best they could offer me was £81.  Told them to leave it.  Hopefully get a better offer after i have left.

They offered you £5 less than you're already paying?

So you were happy paying £86 for the last 18months?
    But not now??

If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

I am currently out of contract and paying a very expensive £122.50 a month. The renewal cost in my account says it will be £107.50. Other than me getting rid of the sports package there doesn't appear to be an option to bring the price down below £100. I am currently undecided what to do and how much I am willing to pay but it is frustrating that it looks like I could get £37 a month as a new customer. As with all there things though, it is hard to actually price match like for like (or I am finding that harder to do anyway). Their price certainly doesn't seem to be something to shout about as a retention deal currently although I haven't gone as far as the retention team yet. I want to know my plan should I need to leave first!

Out of contract next month. Phoned up and was offered the below:

    Sky Signature (Sky Q)
    Sky HD
    Sky Broadband superfast (50MBS)

    £74 a month.

    I am currently paying £57

Will be cancelling as that is not a good deal when new customers can get Broadband and TV for £39 a month
