They didn’t call me. I called this number 0333 7594451 which was on a leaflet I received with the boxes to send back my Sky equipment. It’s gets you straight through to the WinBack Team. You have to play the game with them. The first offer on that number was £43… Then that went down to £37… Then £30… Then £27. The agent kept putting me on hold to ‘check with my manager’. Every price she gave me was ‘the lowest I can go’… but then it magically went lower when I declined. There was also a £10 fee which she said was mandatory, but when I declined she was able to credit that money back if I accepted the deal.If you do want to sign back up, call that number. But be prepared to say no to the first few offers and stand your ground.Let us know how you get on. Good luck!!0 -

Well - I'm just having a general think about things and I've decided I'm spending too much time in front of the gogglebox and I'll probably cancel next renewal time.(Mind you, I said that last time, and the time before!)0

Funnily I havent had anyone call me since I gave notice. I called them once last week tho to check the offer but the offer was somewhat better than my original offer with the CS team. Just wondering if it's worth calling them once again on the new number - it makes customers look a bit desperate although you may stand a better chance of winback as they do now know you are still interested in staying on.. what do you think?0

We're paying £72 a month, £32 of which is for Sport, which we are cancelling anyway. The rest is for Signature & HD (we still have the old HD+ Box, which is on its last legs). We also pay £15.99 a month for Netflix
The household vote is for Sky Q as they still want to "record" Sky. I called them up yesterday and got £54 for an 18 month contract for Q, Signature, Netflix (which we do want) and Multiroom and Ultra HD (which we don't need but is "bundled in").
Having thought about it - that's fairly rubbish. There's a new customer deal for £39 that has Q, Signature, HD and Netflix. If I went with Virgin (we did in the past but the UI isn't liked) I could get TV and broadband for £39.50, and keep the Netflix separate. Do I just phone up again to haglle them down and be ready to give my notice? I did that with Virgin over our broadband a few years ago and eventually got a good deal.
Update: Called Sky and have got Q, Signature, HD and Netflix for £36, a saving (ignoring Sky Sports) of £20 a month. Not quite the good deal that @southlad got though!
Add in cancelling the sport and we are £52 a month better off1 -

Sky Signature - £14
Ultimate TV Add On - £6
Sky HD - £5
Ultra HD -£2
Total: £27.I’m happy with this. What do you think? A good deal?
(I do find it strange that in 2023 Sky are still charging for HD)
Your deal looks pretty good compared to most in the last 50 or so pages, however like you I find it irritating that basic HD is £5. I wonder if you said you didn't want HD (and therefore UHD) they would have said you can't have Signature for £14...You have to play the game with them. The first offer on that number was £43… Then that went down to £37… Then £30… Then £27. The agent kept putting me on hold to ‘check with my manager’. He also made mistakes here and there - he suggested moving to Stream for £20pm, saying that it was better because you can take your puck anywhere and so watch it on holiday etc - AFAIK that's completely false, I think the puck's a geo-fenced, and even if they weren't, I think the Stream contract says you can only watch it at the registered address. He also said that Stream has many more Sky channels than NOW - I'm not sure if that's true either. Then when you consider that on Sky HD you can just forward through adverts, whereas on Stream that needs a £5pm upgrade, then actually stream looks significantly inferior to just keeping our Sky HD+ !!! But not on a worse deal than the one I was offered 6 weeks ago - if that doesn't change in the coming days then I will (surprisingly to me) genuinely move away from Sky, and probably just use NOW until we decide on a long-term plan.
My wife isn't particularly happy with that, as Sky (HD+, Q and Stream) seems to be the only provider that gives an 'all in one' EPG, including terrestrial channels. That's strange too - it seems amazing to us that one of the other providers can't do the same. Even if the individual channels are still hosted on their own apps, I don't see why they can't provide an all-emcompassing EPG and watchlist / planner fed from it... But hey ho, what do I know?0 -
In the past, there would always be someone from Sky during the notice period trying to win you back with decent offers. My Sky has supposedly now lapsed. One person did call about three weeks ago but I was driving and they said they would call back. I haven't had one person from Sky talk to me as yet to discuss renewal. However I have been having a slew of txts since Sunday saying my contract will/has expired and my services have now ended and to call them back on a variety of numbers. One of the texts also said that the envelopes for the equipment would be sent.
On another note, Amazon are currently doing their Prime sale and are offering Firestick on reduced prices. I believe on firestick, there are other viewing options available. That together with Netflix, Prime TV, Disney+ and AppleTV we also have, I have decided that if Sky don't give a crap then neither do I! We have enough options available. So, it will be goodbye to Sky!
