I believe it was posted that it takes anything from a couple of days to just before the equipment is due to be sent back. It's not 100% certain though because you may not get the phone call so make sure you have a plan of action in case they don't phone you!southlad said:Anyone got a call from the Win back team after your services were switched off? Hmmm, being on Sky HD+, we don't have any equipment to return... I wonder if despite the retentions team offering reasonable deals a few weeks ago, actually Sky won't be that sad to lose Sky HD+ customers who don't want Q or Stream, as it means they can gradually decommission all of that legacy part of the platform... Meh, we have Now and Apple TV for now, perhaps if Sky intend to remove Sky HD+ eventually anyway, maybe we just bite the bullet and do it now.ImranQ said:

(Before anyone asks, there are 2 reasons we prefer Sky HD+ - firstly, Q is expensive for multi-room, whereas on Sky HD+ you can get it free (totally legally) using the RF2 output on the box; and secondly, we hate the 'splitting out' for any streaming services. Different apps for different channels, all with slightly different controls and functionality, no EPG that manages them all, no search that covers them all, for us the current standard streaming offerings are a big step backwards from what Sky HD+ provides now with everything in a single place. Just our view).0 -
I preferred the Sky+ navigation compared to Q. Double tapping the TV Guide button was more intuitive for me and the display colours/contract of the EPG were better. I suppose they had to shrink the remote somehow, but some of the navigation is bizarre to me (scrolling through sometimes their up seems like down to me IYSWIM). Plus there are various bugs which crop up occasionally which require a hard power off. Got used to it now, but it took a while.1

Can't say I've ever come across a bug whilst navigating the Q system (if that's what you mean), I've always found it much more intuitive myself.miller said:I preferred the Sky+ navigation compared to Q. The colour/contrast can be resolved by going into the accessibility section (I think). That does make a big difference for the wife at least.0
