Due to the expiration of various deals my package is increasing from £124pm to £188pm
It's going to have to be a good haggle or else just cancel as much as I can.
Does anyone else pay these prices, or give me any advice, thank you.

    Sky Signature                            £27.70
    Ultimate TV Add on                     £7.00
    Sky Kids                                      £6.00
Sky Sports - Complete Pack     £32.00
    TNT Sports                                £28.00
    Sky Cinema                               £12.00
    Sky Sports HD                             £2.00
    Sky HD                                        £9.00
    Multiscreen                                 £15.00
    Ultra HD                                        £4.00
    Sky Broadband Superfast           £39.50
    Sky Broadband Boost                   £6.00
                                                   ----------------
                                                     £188.20 per month

Being retired I watch almost everything, and make use of the multiscreen, although now my grandchildren are older I can get rid of Sky Kids..
That definitely needs a call to Sky to see what they can offer, if you’re still not happy after that, put cancellation notice in.  You should get that for way way less.  The best prices are normally always after putting in a cancellation.  Just tell them it’s completely unaffordable.
    Thank you.
The new prices come into force in October. When is the best time to contact Sky? Is it around a month before the changes?

I would say max you should pay is somewhere between £80 and £100 I think you may have to cancel to get it cheaper than this

Yes, and if no success set the TV to cancel at the end of minimum term. Don't cancel the BB but do speak to them after checking for alternatives online so that you have comparisons.

I’m still in the cancellation notice period and have been pressing them for offers but tired of it now. I’ve agreed to
    Signature 20
    Sports 19
    HD 6
    Superfast BB 25
There was no getting away from the £20 admin fee - I do resent the title because it feels as if I end up doing most of the admin! The winback person said that they don’t have the leeway to waive the admin as they used to be able to do.
As always, I’m left wondering if I could have done better but it’s worth not having to spend any more of my time on it for another 18 months.
  • Currently under cancellation.
No phone calls so contacted them via chat (may have been connected to Win Back not sure)
All I want is TV (signature) but MUST have multiroom as I have a SkyQ mini box upstairs.
    Offered -
    Signature £18 (£34)
    Multiroom - £12 (£15)
    + £20 admin fee
I told them that Virgin had offered a cheaper deal with no admin fee (partly-true)
I said that I wasn’t paying the admin fee but they were insistent saying that the system wouldn’t remove it (or allow a credit)
In any case I REFUSED their offer - I’ll wait for a phone call or just manage without.
Another thing - chat is really slow - don’t hold your breath - it takes all day!

I've not long re-subbed and got the "admin fee" put back on as a credit at the time. I've never paid it previously and would rather leave than pay it. Nothing has changed and they can definitely waive/credit it no matter what they claim.

They never charged it on my recent renewal. They tried to at first but I went back on chat the next day and they waived it.

On a previous renewal negotiation they said that admin fee was "unaviodable" but when I said that it was a deal breaker, the agent knocked another £2 pm off the sub!.
The latest renewal last December, I got it reduced from a nonsensical £30 down to £10 plus free install of Sky Q.

I'm not having much luck getting a good offer to rejoin Sky yet. I've had a decent offer through the post for Sky Stream, but when I've contacted them on chat for Sky Q, they haven't been great at all.

I'm getting the feeling that they are really trying to move customers away from Q and onto Stream or Glass. One way they seem to be doing this is by insisting on the ridiculous charge for HD on Q.

Got a phone-call from the Win Back team - £23 in total (Signature & Multi-room) + £10 admin (tried to get in removed - in the end lost the will to live & let it stand)

Accepted the deal as it was substantially cheaper than one on chat
