Left Sky Q two months ago after they couldn’t get my price lower than £60…got sent a Sky Stream offer a few weeks ago which was the package I’d wanted Signature, Netflix, Sports, HD & UHD for £37. I’m not interested in Stream so ignored it. Today I’ve received a Come Back email with the same package on Sky Q for £45. I’m getting along fine with my old Sky HD and Humax boxes plus a 4K firestick so think I’ll resist for longer, see if I feel different when the footie season starts again.

Thoughts on good or bad deal…..!
I am out of contract this week. Currently pay £68/month (although was £62.50 until a month ago - not sure what increased, and only £56/month prior to price hike!). This is for sky signature, ultimate add on, HD, and approx 60mbs broadband (can’t get higher where we live currently).

Complained about WiFi in house and was offered £59.50 without boost, £63.50 with boost.

New customers get same package got £60 (or £66 with boost) so seems pretty poor for being a customer for over 10 years!

I was paying £59.50 for a full sky package with mini boxes. This ended a few months ago and it ran into a rolling £82 a month. The retentions team couldn't offer me anything better than that.
Ive accepted a basic signature package with HD and multiroom for £40 something a month.
I don't have a terrestrial cable otherwise I'd have cancelled completely.
Disappointed with Sky and their current pricing structure.

My most recent 18 month contract runs out early August, I've already given notice of cancellation (31 days before the contract ends) as I have done on previous renewals.

My current package is £39 p/m for Signature, Sports and HD/UHD, renewal was extortionate and included an additional admin fee (for the benefit of customers apparently) so was rejected entirely.

Do Sky still send out letters with retention offers, or are they only doing things via phone (I have phone turned off on contact preferences).  From reading people's experiences it does sound like I'll just be letting go of Sky as it sounds like they aren't all that worried about retention these days.

I’ve given notice to cancel in August and in the ridiculous haggling phase once more. So far, I’ve had a couple of missed phone calls and an email with an offer for Signature and Sports for £39 - unclear if that includes HD or not and the small print wasn’t at all clear. I went on Chat but wasn’t impressed by the offer and will hold out for longer and then probably ring them. My contract is also expiring for Sfast BB but best offer is £34.50 - new customers can get it for £25 so tempted to finally take the plunge and move elsewhere.

Unlikely to include HD - they will probably want another ~ £6-7 . Seems a standard tactic to not include !!

I cancelled Sky and returned my Sky Q box last month.

I've since been looking at Sky Stream and Sky Glass.

Yesterday I had an offer through the post from Sky for Sky Stream:

    Entertainment and Netflix = £20 (usually £26)
UHD and Dolby Atmos = £2 (usually £6)
    Skip the Ads = £5

Not sure if I'm going to be able to get any better than this?

I was also looking at Sky Glass as I'm considering a new TV. Has anyone managed to get an offer on the TV subscription side of Glass at all?

    Thanks :-)
