Update:
Sky phoned me today, offered Sky Signature, Sports HD, Superfast BBand, 18 months £50.50 per month.
I accepted, think its a pretty good deal.0 -
copels said:I was on a good deal at £50/month but contract ends 6/1/23:
Sky Signature - £19
Ultimate Add on - £5
Sky Sports Complete - £12
Sky Sports HD - £2
Sky HD - Free
Multiscreen £10
Ultra HD £2
Been through to nice lady in retentions but she can only offer £62:
Sky Signature - £20
Ultimate Add on - £6
Sky Sports Complete - £17
Sky Sports HD - not sure if this is included above
Sky HD - 4
Multiscreen £11
Ultra HD £4
I have started my 31 day cancellation but the lady in retentions advised me to contact them before the 31 days if I wanted to stay or they would have to set up a new contract. I need to think seriously if we can do away with SKY if I can't get close to £50 again. Apart from Sky Sports, the main thing we would miss is the nice TV guide and the interface - we actually only really watch BBC&ITV plus Netflix. Has anybody used any other set top boxes that they would recommend if I do follow through and cancel?
Thanks, Steve
Yes i did miss it at first but you soon realise what else is available on the free channels and we still get NOW tv for the main Sky channels though this is watched rarely. Netflix is also part of the subscription so also another saving.
Continue to use the dish connection as quite a few channels on freesat which we watch. Our tv has a sat connection.
The BT box also allows remote recordings. Would never move back now and i was with Sky for 25 years, with no loyalty shown on new contracts each year.

OK, finally got a deal I was happy with. Was without Sky for approx. 10 days before I 'live chatted' them again and got something more reasonable:
Signature
Cinema
Sky Sports
Ultimate
HD + Ultra HD
Multiroom
£52 per month for 18 months and got them to waive the ridiculous admin fee. In an ideal world it would have been under £50 but was happy enough with this to go with it. The Ultimate package is good with the Ultra HD as you get Netflix Premium with all it's 4k and HDR goodness which is better than I had with Netflix before.
Could definitely do without Sky for a while as there were some decent offers on Now for Sports and Cinema. It's just not as convenient and I had to break out an old Sky HD box for the bedroom and the disk spinning in that was doing my head in. So, for me, the convenience of the Sky platform is worth a few quid alone but if I can't get a decent deal at next renewal, will be more than happy to go without again.

Have just been offered on an 18 month contract. Signature & Sky sports for £28pcm.0 -
Hi just wondered if anyone had any decent deals from Sky when moving over their existing deals over to include Sky Glass? Presume certain elements of the existing Sky deal become obsolete so can absorb some of the £17 a month Sky Glass cost? Thanks in advance.0

Have been without sky for almost 8 months now, using amazon fire 4k tv and OTT apps as required. With the added benefit of not watching live tv and sparing the tv license cost feels like a huge saving. Unless sky changes their pricing to around £15 its not worth with alternatives now available to everyone at home0

So just got done after 28 days in cancellation period.
Sky Sports HD
Sky Signature
Sky Kids
Sky Cinema + Paramount
Sky Q Multiroom
Ultra HD / HD
Sky Q 2TB
2 x Sky Q Mini
£56.50 No Admin Fee.
Started at £71
They also said it would remain fixed for 18months with no changes but have screenshotted that for when they try and put the inflationary increase on.1 -
Just accepted deal on webchat 4 days after going off
Signature £17
HD £4
Sports Hd £12
Multiroom £5
£38 for 18 months
Admin fee waived0 -
The deals that appear to be around currently ,suggest that Sky are really starting to feel the squeeze -must be lots of cancellations going in.0
