Sky don't normally send the pre-paid bags for your SkyQ box until a few weeks after the cancellation has taken effect. Because they don't want to lose customers, they will normally make an offer before then.Sterlingtimes said:

Did you turn down offers pre cancellation date ? Wonder if that flags up sending the box out rather than the cancellation itself. I was basing the comment on a friend who cancelled but had the Q box for several weeks before they wanted to recover.CyberGorilla said:

Now I have a substantial TV package. Movies/Sport/Multiroom etc.
I always find my opening line of paying 50% of a lot is much better than 100% of feckall goes well.0 -

2nd Comm - Me to Sky to get a better deal - Offer slightly more than what I was paying. Offer accepted.
3rd Comm - Me to Sky Cancelled again… No offer made.
4th Comm - Sky to me.. - offer made no better than first.
5th Comm - me to Sky last day in contract, offer made no better.
6th Comm - me to Sky a few days out of contract, offer made accepted, less than I was paying last year before price increase….
I think the box arrived same day as me renewing/signing up again.0
