We have Signature, Cinema, HD, UHD, Anytime Talk, Fibre Broadband. Been with them over 15 years. Went out of contract a couple of months back. Noticed that Ultrafast Broadband on their website was a lower price than our current package. Called them up, U.K. call centre. Probably the most helpful person I’ve ever renegotiated with. He knew all the different deals and got our price down from £133pm to £86pm with the upgrade to Ultrafast Broadband.0

Signature, Cinema, Sports, Kids , Netflix, UHD+HD, Multiroom came to £66. From that, it's just gone up the nearer I am getting to the end date.mits999 said:
What’s the best offer you had?Keeop said:
I've only used chat the last couple of times I've renegotiated so maybe I'll try calling this time, as I am getting nowhere on chat. Is it a UK call centre for retentions/win-back?mits999 said:I phoned them not live chat but I did have broadband and landline which they renewed I think the advisors get commission on the tv + broadband and landline so more eager to give a bigger discount
The commission structure for the advisor for renewing tv only I’m sure is quite low so less favourable to give a big discount
When I first switched to Q from standard, I was paying about £50 for the above, minus Netflix.
Cheers.

That’s a crazy price to renew at, should be more near £40 to £50kevinyork said:We have Signature, Cinema, HD, UHD, Anytime Talk, Fibre Broadband. Been with them over 15 years. Actually had a phone call from Sky, so that saved me phoning them. However, their best deal offered was still more than the initial offer via email which is just shocking. They just don't seem to want to hang on to customers any more.Keeop said:

I cannot have Virgin because all six houses and our shared driveway have to consent to the installation, and one will not do so. Does Virgin sell a service that will run over Openreach?I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0

No. They used to offer their "Offnet" service to customers on the OR network (I used to have it) but they closed that down at least 8 years ago.Sterlingtimes said:I cannot have Virgin because all six houses and our shared driveway have to consent to the installation, and one will not do so. ok, interesting update hopefully.
Called Sky yesterday as my broadband disconnect date is tomorrow, Sky Q disconnect in about 3 weeks as deals offered were rubbish.
Was offered by retention team:-
145mbps fibre broadband £35
Ultimate TV (Netflix) £5
HD £4
Signature £19
Multiroom £7
Total £70
This is about £8 a month less than when I requested disconnection.
Asked if I could get a brand new deal under wifes name, spoke to a very (too) chatty man called Jameemul, really helpful and he offered me this:-
145mbps fibre broadband £24
Ultimate TV (Netflix) £0
HD £6
Signature £22
Multiroom £7.50
Total £59.50
zero setup &delivery fees.
This call lasted 1HR 45Mins!!!!
Was all set to sign the new deal when I noticed not only is it a 1TB box, it was only 1 minibox.
2TB box and additional mini boxes £50 each non-negotiable(Total £200) so that killed that deal. What a waste of time. Really nice customer service though(UK Based)
Am on the phone today to try and get the renewal. Tempted to go plusnet for broadband, but stay with sky tv(got too much recorded on box that I don't want to lose!) not sure if this will cause issues though? Any ideas?
