Sky signature £16
Sky sports complete pack £4
Sky cinema £10
Sky sports HD £2
Sky HD £3
Important thing for me was the total - and being able to remove cinema throughout summer so it suits me that is the most expensive bitYour tips would be very much appreciated! Thanks0 -
We have cancelled Sky as the deals they were offering were more expensive than we were paying.
Their current offer is:
Sky signature £18
Kids £1
HD £3
Sky Sports £7
Cinema £11
Multiroom £10
Total £50 p/month . Plus £10 admin.
Still seems a bit high to me?£2 Savers club £0/£150
1p a day £/0 -

I've been offered that same pack for £46 (£33 + HD £3 + Multiroom £10) 4 days after cancelling. I suspect I could hold out for more but I don't want to chance the scenario of having no Sky at all (I can't afford the divorce!). It is less than I am already paying (£60) and a lot less than their 'special' renewal offer, so was Ok for me.

Do people here think you generally get a better deal with Sky if you take TV & broadband package or not? Having looked the last 10 or so pages, it's not really clear - perhaps for standard new customers it's true, but when you haggle with them it almost seems as though having a package or not is irrelevant, as some of the best TV deals in the last 10 pages don't mention broadband.
Any guidance for anyone on that point? (I ask because my BT broadband contract expires in a month, and Sky in just over 2 months, so wondering whether to just suck up the horrible post-contract cost with BT for just a month, then bring both together with Sky, or just take Vodafone broadband now, and negotiate TV with Sky in a month or so's time...)0 -

I managed to get the following with the chat team
Sky Signature £16
Sky Ultimate £6
Sky Kids £1
Sky HD £3
Ultrafast £32
Total £58
I was previously paying £27 for the same TV package with Sky so now got this now for £26. Virgin broadband (100mb) was costing £30 and likely to increase by c.£4.50-£5 based on Mr. Lewis's recent announcement so managed to limit my increase to £2/mth. Plus Sky Ultrafast should hopefully be faster than Virgin 100.
I was also being charged £20 admin fee and I offered to pay £10, but whilst on the chat I looked at this thread and saw folks getting their admin fees waived so told the agent this and he reluctantly agreed to put a £20 credit on the account as a 'one-off' to cover this. Say no to admin fees!

how did you manage to get down to these figures? Were you offered them in the chat when cancelling or was it after? I’d be over the moon to get this plus say multiroom for £10
I'd told them when cancelling it was purely price, the service was fine. When the CS rep called on day 8 he said "I understand it is just the price, let me see what I can do?!"
The offer in chat when cancelling was nowhere near as good. But the email they sent me 3 days after cancelling was only £1 per month more than this monthly I accepted so my offers were very good once I had given notice.
As has often been said, be prepared to leave and it will likely come right.0 -
