I've Cancelled my Sky TV & Broadband today to try and get a better deal from them!
Fingers Crossed!  It's worked in the past.   But not sure on their policies these days?
Really don't want to leave Sky, I like the Sky Q box!
The best they could offer me was £94 per month for 18 month contract.
That was for all Sky Sports & BT Sport in HD, HD Pack, SkyQ Box & the usual Sky Channels + Basic Fibre Broadband (25mbps download where i am, rural village)
So No Netflix, No Sky Movies. No Kids Channels, No UHD, No Multiroom!
What's the best i can expect for those options?
So Now Here, Waiting for Sky to Call with an Amazing Offer !!   smiley
    or don't hold my breath!

Cancelled over a week ago now. I received a text message sending me to a live chat - couldn't get through to anyone on the live chat so rang the number provided and not having much luck. I've been offered £16 for signature tv and £28 for superfast broadband.

Has anyone had much luck recently? I've been paying £41 for bb and TV, up until now.
I was offered same deal for £38 turned it down. Had 3 missed calls from sky hoping to catch one and see what they offer.
Best offer was £38 so let it run out but kept superfast BB for £22  got Roku instead for £30

  • I also just cancelled and got Roku. Will save £204 a year will spend some of it on buying the very few sky shows I actually watch through now or other providers.

Spoke to Sky yesterday. They gave me a pretty poor offer.

I'm currently paying £77 per month on the old packages. Was hoping for £35 ish.

    Sky offered £52 per month
    -------------------
    Sky Signature - £23
    HD  - £6
    Cinema - £9
    Multiscreen - £14

It always makes me laugh how they go through the long winded process of listing the discount they're giving you on each service. Just give me the price!

Cancelled on xmas eve, sky playing hard ball with my offers, so have ditched them.
Realised i was watching predominantly BBC, ITV channel 4 and 5 plus yesterday, all free and Netflix and Amazon.
They all have fantastic apps to stream any catch ups, do not miss it all , you only realise this after its gone.
Lots of my friends all cancelling with such an array of apps to stream , many free
    Times are changing for sky.

Hopefully this might help someone knowing what to aim for (albeit the breakdown can probably be made to suit whatever Sky want!):

    Sky signature £16
    Sky sports complete pack £4
    Sky cinema £10
    Sky sports HD £2
    Sky HD £3

Important thing for me was the total - and being able to remove cinema throughout summer so it suits me that is the most expensive bit ;)
Last time I tried to remove cinema I was told my sky Sports would shoot up in price, I have a similar package to you so be careful.

I would take this minus Sky kids if offered.

How were you offered this deal? Was it a chat or phone, and pre or post giving cancellation notice.

Your tips would be very much appreciated! Thanks
