Spoke to retentions after cancelling Sky earlier in the week and got Sky Sports and BT Sports for £54 a month on an 18 month contract, had to pay the £10 admin charge. That's £30 for the Sky package and £24 for the BT package.

Spoke via the chat function and received the following:

Free Sky Q box and installation

    -18 month contract
    Sky Signature - £19
    Sky Sports HD - £20
    Sky Cinema - £8

    -Non Contracted

    HD - £5
Ultimate - £5 (I'm paying £10 for Netflix, so save £5 a month doing this)

    Total £57pm

£20 admin fee, but £20 credited to my account.

Cancelled and disconnected last month. Just been offered Signature £16, Sports £12, HD £3. £10 admin fee. 18 month contract. Not renewing at the moment.

Got this offer minus the HD with multiroom added for £7 a month through the post.

I had also cancelled and been disconnected for a while, so this may be the way to get the best deal if you don't mind a few weeks without it.

    Sky Signature at £16 a month (that's a £5 + £12 discount with an 18-month contract)
Ultimate TV add on (Netflix standard) at £5 a month (that's a £1 discount)
    Kids at £2 (that's a £4 discount)
    HD at £3 (that's a £4 discount)
    Sky Cinema at £5 ((that's a £8 + £6 discount with an 18-month contract)
Sky Q Multiscreen at £12 (that is £3 discount when having ultimate tv add on with an 18-month contract)

    Any good?
  • Hi

Just got my dad a new deal on chat for the same package with not much effort it has to be said. Initially offered me Sports HD pack and signature for £50 (was paying £42). Just mentioned a deal seen on the Telegraph site for £45 including Netflix but £49 fee. Then offered £41 per month plus £20 fee. Happy with that with so little effort.

    Cheers

    Offered by chat
    Signature (18 months contract) £18
    Sky Sports HD £17
    Kids £2.50
    HD £0
    Multi-Room £12
    £10 Admin fee

Declined the offer as I’ve seen better offers and doesn’t offer sufficient value and you have to factor in prices can rise up to 10% within a year. Proceeding with cancellation.

Hi all, my current discounts expire next month. Can anyone help with what I should be aiming for with the following:

    Current package
    Signature £20
    Ultimate £6
    Kids £1
    HD £3.
    Total £30pm.

The biggest discounts for Signature mentioned in this thread seem to be offered with Sports/Cinema/Multiscreen or broadband packages. What successes have people had for just a basic TV package?

Just got new18 month deal with just threatening to cancel - Signature plus Sports plus Sports HD for £38pm and got the £20 admin charge waived. May not be the best possible but I decided I could do without the hassle in the current heat wave!

Can’t get anywhere near the offers people are getting, currently due to be switched off on the 2nd August. Had zero messages off them and no emails despite them being turned on under preferences. Never cancelled before and been with them 10years so perhaps they are calling my bluff?

They were holding firm at £66pm for everything minus BT Sport, phone and broadband.

Live chat this morning was like pulling teeth, kept telling me how great the service is despite it actually being incredibly unreliable and not even working at all this morning. She eventually took it down to £63pm after “pulling some strings”.

Looks as though il have to go through with the cancellation
