    Jus received an email offer.

    Entertainment £13 per month.

    Sport £12 per month.

    + £10 admin fee.
With or without HD? If it includes HD for both then good offer! How long contracted term ??

Been haggling with Sky for a while, was paying £32 per month for Sky Q with HD, kids & cinema, that ended and went up to £47. Called to cancel, removed cinema, got offered entertainment & kids with HD for £23 which isn’t bad, but they wouldn’t budge on anything with the cinema, so I’ve processed a cancellation. We’ll see how we go.

My Sky contract is up on 31st July and I’ve been gradually removing services to reduce the cost, first Sky Go Extra, then Sky Cinema and HD so I now pay £24.00 per month for the basic entertainment package without box sets.

I contacted them today and was offered the following....

    Sky Signature £15.00
    Sky HD £2.00
    Sky Cinema £8.00
Sky Multiroom £8.50 with free Sky minibox instead of £50.00 normally.
Sky UHD £4.00 but would need to then pay £60.00 for new Sky UHD box and £50.00 for Sky minibox.

I told them to cancel as it was more than I was willing to pay.

You're really far too early to negotiate. Wait till you're within the last 30 days both to negotiate and to cancel.

Interesting, when I enquired about the UHD box, I got told it was £199 to buy the box.

how are you all contacting sky? I annually negotiate on sky chat but can never get connected to an agent. To be honest I hate phoning and speaking F2F and much prefer the impersonal nature of sky chat

The only "UHD" decoder Sky supply is the rental  Sky Q. It is not available for purchase at any price.
