Just renewed on 18 month contact. Old Sky + box.
    Ent £17
    Sport HD £10
Total £27 - this includes April 2020 price rise.

    Can you help please.
    Renewed 17 days ago.
Obviously no Sport or Eurosport on Entertainment.
I would like to cancel service, how do I go about this?

    Thank you.
Sign into your Sky account -on home page there is instructions as how to 'pause' sky sports until the Coronavirus has gone and live sports are back on.
Not exactly a cancellation but it only takes a minute. It seems you are outside 14 day to cancel completely - sky will charge you for doing this.

My contract is due for renewal in early April. I obviously want a good deal and currently have Sports HD. If I suspend Sports now I wonder how it will affect any offer. I appreciate nobody really knows but wonder if I keep Sports they.will give a good deal. Have Q 2T with multiroom and everything except Kids and Movies

Sky are offering a 31 day cooling off period if thats useful to anyone.
Getting through to Sky is now the issue.

Managed to get through after 1 hour.
Sky were extremely generous and offered me a 3 month Sky sports holiday and gave me a £34 credit for the next 2 months covering my entertainment package.
    Bravo Sky.

Worth the wait.  It worked after a few minutes despite the continuously revolving circle.  Thanks for the tip jonesMUFCforever - oh no I'm a City fan!

Been trying for a few hours to get through, bloody phone system disconnects you, how great. Sky disconnected this morning, but funny all the free channels are on. So not that bad. Does anybody ever get on chat, always grey for us. Best the indian guy could do was £51 that was main box, two mini boxes, boxsets, hd, kids, netflix, cinema.
    Kind Regards
    Bill
  • As of Friday (20th), Sky Customer Support is offering a reduced service and says it will NOT discuss orders or billing matters over the phone.  They quote a waiting time to get through to Customer Support of over 1 hour.  That's all understandable with the Covid restrictions, but it means there is no chance to follow Martin's excellent advice on haggling with them.  My subscription has just about to go up by 7% to £39.50 per month, which is getting too high for me.

Given that there is no opportunity to discuss this subscription increase with Sky, and given how many people are going to be confined to home with Sky as one of their few means of entertainment, would it not be a good idea for Martin to start a campaign to urge Sky to cancel the automatic increase in charges from April 1st until such time as "normal service can be resumed"??  I'm sure the Murdoch empire could take the hit!
