    Sky Go you get for free anyway, so no saving there.  If you've been with them long enough you can get Sky Go Extra free too through the VIP scheme.

    You've probably moved from a legacy Sky package to Entertainment, which starts at £25 out of contract or can fall significantly if you're lucky, and is actually better value than the old packages were.
  • It was a pain but my offers improved the day after I was disconnected. No internet for a week.

    1 week from end of contract...

    just got the following for £70/m
    ent, movies, sports, BB max, multiroom, phone (evening/weekends free calls), ultimate tv add on (UHD netflix)
    Pretty sure i could have got below £70 as the fact there is no real sport content was mentioned by the retentions chap..... play hard ball and i think £60-65 could be achieved. i stupidly mentioned a £70 figure as a ball park number..... he didnt shift from that... dont say anything specific  when they ask  what  you want to pay!!!!
  • Called up to complain about the yearly cost increase, was told I couldn't cancel any of my packages, when I challenged it and said they have cancellation costs on the website, I was quickly told she wasn't aware of this and transferred me to Cancellations team. I told them I thought the advisor had openly lied to me. As a result they moved me to sky super fast broadband from the essential package, they added sky box sets, added the Kids channels, upgraded my sky VIP membership and included 2 free movie downloads, i was moved to a better channel package...... all for free and as a result my new monthly bill is 27.5% cheaper.

    Has anyone rung Sky to tell them to remove Sky Sports from their package?  There seems very little point having Sky Sports at the moment, when there's virtually no live sports to watch.

    If so, did Sky offer a deal e.g. half price for 18 months?

    I'm about to ring them and wondered what to expect.

    I was stuck on hold for 30 minutes, because they won't let you downgrade online.  The guy I spoke to told me he "perfectly understood" why I'd want to cancel before spending the next 10 minutes trying to persuade me not to.  All a bit of a waste of time, really, when we've all got better things to be getting on with.

    Cancelled yesterday as I do every year.  31 day count down has begun to see what they offer.  It's become a pain but withdrawing my custom is the most effective tool I have.
  • Went on live chat to cancel and this was what I was offered. Is it any good? Bill has just gone up to £67.70 and that is normal fibre Broadband, not Superfast quoted below.

    * Ultra HD - £3
    * Sky Signature (Entertainment + Box sets) - £18
    * Multi room - £9.50
    * Broadband Superfast - £25
    Sky Q. 18 month contract
    Total - £55.50 (although the advisor arrived at £57 somehow...)

    Also had the option of Netflix for £4.50, and could probably do without Box sets.

    Thanks! 👍

    It turns out I have Superfast already so no change to Internet speeds...

    Just renewed on 18 month contact. Old Sky + box.
    Ent £17
    Sport HD £10
    Total £27 - this includes April 2020 price rise.

    Can you help please.
    Renewed 17 days ago.
    Obviously no Sport or Eurosport on Entertainment.
    I would like to cancel service, how do I go about this?

    Thank you.
