Sky TV retention deals ( post your haggling successes )

You need to give 31 days notice anyway so even if you do want to leave it can't be before the 14th of April in any event. You can contact Sky whenever you like if you're out of contract, sometimes you may be able to have a new deal take effect from the next billing date even if you're in a minimum term so phone them up after the 14th and see what happens.Note that Sky is not the be all and end all of digital TV. You may be able to do better elsewhere depending on what you watch.1

As soon as your notice has expired and you have left they will send you an offer in about a week. That is the only way to get the best deal. Even if you know what the deal is (it is not hard to find out) and ask for it. They will make you leave to get it.If that's not an option then anytime after your term has expired but don't expect much.0

Boohoo
I certainly hope so. My main concern was avoiding the prices rises this April/May which was confirmed. I’m less confident next year they won’t go up.0 -
