Sky TV retention deals ( post your haggling successes )

My sky goes off tomorrow....been on live chat twice and deals were average....so will leave it a week before I look at Virginmedia

Today I was not sure if this is a good deal old deal coming to an end , paying £29 . They have offered me £37 , 18 months £20 admin fee, for broadband essential plus entertainment package. They wouldn’t budge or throw in anything extra Or I can have the tv entertainment channels for £15 and change broadband to someone cheaper , this seems the cheaper option

Cancelled my whole package yesterday on live chat, do sky still come back with offers to stay

Cancelled as all the lady could offer was £51 for tv, netflix and boxsets and multi room on sky q

for £75 a month 18 month contract

You did well - spent 2 hours on chat today and got almost the same as MWood1 ( - inc boxsets = £33) - came down from £71(end of deal price) to £64 to £41to £36 to £33 ! Didn't think I had the will to keep going any longer

It sounds like a 'standard' offer, I turned down £26/month (Sports & Entertainment in HD) as I have an old box and won't sign an 18 month deal with it. With Sky Q they wanted £32/month! I told them to stuff it, I've been out of contract about a month.

It sounds like a 'standard' offer, I turned down £26/month (Sports & Entertainment in HD) as I have an old box and won't sign an 18 month deal with it. With Sky Q they wanted £32/month! I told them to stuff it, I've been out of contract about a month.

I'd accept £26 - just need the offer.
