  • My TV package was due to go up to £79 (still had £2 off UOD).

After declining two offers over the phone I cancelled and then did online chat the next day and got:

    Entertainment £15 Normally £27
    Kids Pack £1 Normally £5
    HD Pack £1 Normally £5
    Cinema £9 Normally £19
    Ultimate On Demand £12
    Multiroom £13

    TOTAL £51 instead of £81

Problem reinstating my account though apparently so calling me back tomorrow morning to apply the discounts. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I've just upgrade to Sky Q with the VIP offer received through the post. I added the Q experience for an additional £10 per month on an 18 month contract, to be installed March 13th.

I've just realised that my current sky package deal is up for renegotiation at the beginning of April. Will this Sky Q experience new 18 month contract have a negative impact on my chance of a decent deal to a new Sky deal in April??
If it does I'll cancel the upgrade
    Thanks in advance

At a guess I’d say yes. As you’d be in no position to negotiate because you’ve just committed to 18mths at that price. You need the leverage to force a good deal.

I’ve been with sky for 15 years, I’m currently on the basic package with kids & box sets with fibre unlimited and anytime calls and multi room. I pay £105 a month what is the best deal to take if offered?
I have just put my cancellation request in.
    Thank you in advance

Can you break down the package? easier to see if better deal can be achieved.

I would be not accepting to pay more than £60 for what you have.
I have what you have plus all sports & cinema and all in HD and that is a total of £81 for 18 months (On SKY Q)
Breakdown you would look for is BB & Calls Circa £25,  Multiroom £13 (No Discount)  TV £43 (For me) but you should easily achieve circa Low £20s Max
