Been onto Sky again via Live chat they offered me a poor deal to start with then I basically asked for what I wanted and I got it. So new 18 month deal for
Entertainment £15
Sky sports complete in HD £17
Multi screen £13
HD £1
They wanted me to pay £20 admin fee but asked them to waive it which they did so quite happy to get the dance over with for another 18 months.
Never once threatened to cancel just asked for a better deal than I have now. Maybe could have got a few quid more in the cancellation period but from reading last few pages on here that’s not guaranteed but I’m happy with that price.0 -
Has anyone managed to get a good deal on sky q mini boxes, bearing in mind you're not actually buying it? Also does getting one generate a new contract? Thanks0

I'm now ex-Sky and got a quote for TV yesterday: £26/month for Sports & Entertainment in HD. I asked about BT Sports as well and they seemed to want £25/month, I'm not really sure as the woman I was speaking to was more interested in chatting to me.
I took up the fibre BB, phone and Anytime Talk for £25/month & £9.95 hub cost. But I've just checked the email confirmation and they seem to have just signed me up for BB & Pay as You Talk!0 -
£6.50 sky q multi pack
Cinema £9
Entertainment £11
HD £2.50
Fibre broadband £17
£46 a month0 -
Depends who you speak to! When I cancelled I was offered a deal where it was free but then it was 50/50 whether I’d be offered it free on the occasions I tried to haggle with them. Sometimes they just said they had no idea where that offer came from0

Oops, this post was in response to the poster who said that free sky q was a vip reward0

I want to get multiroom, currently pay £42 for sky q. Happy to pay another £13 for multi room, unless there's a way to get it free!! But begrudge paying £50 for a box I'm renting which is a necessity to Benefit from the £13pm payment... Any tips to lose the £50 fee?!0

Movies £8
Box sets £1

Pretty pleased. Threatened to cancel and was offered a deal for £50 first, then this.0 -
New Info.
Sky has started to offer FREE Sky Q to some of its sky VIP customers.
I’ve just taken up an offer for a Sky Q 1TB box, free installation and keeping to my original (discounted) sky package.
Install dates are already backed up to March, so it’s clearly popular.
Looks like they are keen to get rid of the Sky+ boxes still out there, so any haggling you do should include a free Q box.0
