Just cancelled my service using messenger took quite a long time to actually sort it out nearly 3 hours!!
was offered
Entertainment-£22
HD-£4
Box Sets-£4
Sports-£21
HD Sports-£2
Cinema-£10
Multi Room-£12
TOTAL-£75
I asked how much that would cost a new sky customer he said £77, so I said a £2 discount for a loyal customer of over 14 years he said not really new customers would have to pay installation and other costs so my deal was an absolute bargain !!
No thanks...now the waiting game !!0 -
So I have informed CEO that I am disgusted with my treatment and am staying on LEGACY of Entertainment and F1 @ £33 - this is no tied in to any contract - so I can leave with a months notice !0

To be fair they are correct, a new customer would have to pay a whopping one off £20 fee for the 1TB box.
Did they mention the £10 admin fee by any chance...0 -
no mention of any admin fee at all0

Interesting - Sky appear to have decided that every change now necessitates paying a £10 admin fee - this will add to Skys coffers considerably - there are currently 12 million customers in UK and Ireland - and if a new contract is taken out/changed - every 2 years - that's £60 million for doing absolutely nothing more than pressing a button....0 -
OK a decent offer received from Sky
£45 for everything - that's HD sport, movies/cinema, box sets - the works for 18 months
How does that compare to other offers ?
What will the £45 be increased to - at the next price rise ?
No mention of an admin fee on this either !!0 -

Some people have reported the admin fee as £20 now, I'm wondering if they've renegotiated both TV and BB at the same time and Sky have happily charged them £10 for each service.0 -

If that's true then sky are really taking the mick. They are losing subscriber numbers by the bucket load so really they should be thinking of ways to keep them not lose in big numbers!!!
Sky free for almost a year and loving it. There's alternative means to get your TV and sports fix 😂0 -

They tried to charge me £10- admin fee with contract
Or £25 admin fee - without contract
I told them where they could shove this controversial addon - and they told me "These Terms and Conditions are non negotiable and cannot be amended."
Which looks as if when your contract expires - even if you want to change something when you are out of contract - you get stung with a £25 charge...

Just been offered this:
"sure so the best I can do for the tv is change your box sets bundle to our entertainment pack which is £25 per month but I can apply £3 off this for you while adding on the box sets, kids and HD for £5 per month each and applying £4 off each of these this way you will have all the same content as you have now. I will also be able to reduce the cinema to £10 per month with the discounts being for 18 months in an 18 month minimum term with a one off £20 admin fee that gets added to your next bill to help unlock the discounts. This will bring your monthly bills to £60 per month which includes the discount you have at the moment on the fibre (the fibre discount ends on 06/02/20)"
It's not too bad actually, but is still a price increase of £6 per month.
Thoughts?I enjoy a pint of beer each night for it's health benefits. The other pints are for my witty comebacks and flawless dance moves.0
