Considering Basic sky "entertainment" is £22-25
This could be a good option for some ?
You can pay the equivalent of £13 for Sky ADSL or £22 for Sky Fibre Max from this site so no, that's not a good deal for anyone.0 -

OK My mistake ...
Still - since Sky appear fixed on getting their £22 for entertainment - another £8 for broadband is not too bad ?
It does include line rental too !0 -
I've not seen it for a while, they seem to have moved to facebook messenger or chat by text... conversations take a long time!
I tried TXT chat this morning and discovered (it took a long time and it was extremely hard) - that the best offer that was available from CS was £55 for complete Sky TV package - the chap who I was dealing with, expressed disbelief that I was offered a £45 package
I now am told by accessibility - that this offer is no longer available to me - after just 2 days
BUT I have an email with the offer - so have forwarded it to CEO's office
This one - I will win !
Sky are an appalling company to deal with !!0 -
I don't think that's particularly great. I was paying £34 for full HD package.
I'm currently 10 days aways from disconnecting and The best they offered was the same package for £39.
Also offered me a sky q upgrade with full package plus a Netflix account for £45.0 -
It's that time of year I hate - Sky renegotiations!
My account is in the wife's name as I think they got fed up of offering me discount on my one.
60% ends at the end of the month which is all the channels, sports and movies at which point it goes up to £84.
They offered me £58 on live chat then down to £44 so I've said I want to cancel and the guy has gone quiet now... but my question is what is the benchmark these days? I'm not sure how much further I can squeeze them now. I do get Sky Go Extra as well but that was free via Sky Rewards a while back now.
Just looking for some numbers to see if I'm on the right track. Sky Q would be nice I guess as an upgrade as well but I don't have 4k and don't really need it in other rooms (PS4 plus Sky Go takes care of that!).0 -
This is my story.
I have Sky Q, Multiscreen, Cinema, Sky Sports, Entertainment pack, Keds, HD, Box Sets and Unlimited Broadband. I have had Sky Q since launch date and been with sky for 14 years. I was paying £128 a month.
Went on chat on 28/12/18 looking for an upgrade to Fiber Max and a discount on the TV packs. The best price I was offered was £92 a month. So I cancelled.
I got an SMS from Sky today, asking me to hit this URL: Sky.com/reviewmyoptions. There is a link to chat and a phone number. Went on chat and was offered the following:
Entertainment = £25 ( £17 for 12 months )
Kids = £5 ( £1 for 12 months )
HD = £5 ( £1 for 12 months )
Box sets = £5 ( £1 for 12 months )
Sky Sports & Cinema = £40 ( £21 for 12 months )
Sky multi screen = £12
Sky Fibre Max = £27
With a £10 admin fee.
I had a moan about the admin fee, so she knocked another £2 of the TV package.
So all in £78 per month for 12 months. Happy with that.0 -

You appear to have hit the same bottom price as I have (£45)
Its the £10 admin fee that really gets my goat..
They just add it on - for no reason
I am considering complaining to Ofcom about it - don't know whether they will be interested but it won't hurt.....
Typical :
Ofcom doesn't have the powers to investigate these matters. If your complaint can't be resolved with your provider, you may wish to contact Citizens Advice or seek independent legal advice.0 -
I have accepted a £45 offer for the full package - to start on 4th Feb, when my current contract expires...
This should also get me round next months price rise - since, presumably - they will have to honour this price ?0 -

Unlikely....somewhere buried in the ts and cs they will still want the increase altho' it should be at the discounted rate:)0 -

What about cancellation / cooling off rights - after an upgrade ?
