So I have given notice to cancel my Sky Q contract, I noticed in my account they have now offered me a deal, Sky Entertainment £15pm 12 month contact, but the options such as Sky Box Sets are 31 day rolling contracts, does that mean the Sky Box Set discount is only valid for 1 month, or am I misunderstanding it?
Anyone know? Thanks0 -

Did Sky just rely on you checking your on-line account to see if an offer was forthcoming or did they email you as well ?
Also - can you please confirm at what stage the offer was made - ie) You cancelled on-line - but how long did you have to wait for the offer ?0 -

You don't say but if you've been offered a discount on the add-ons (which are separate) as well as £15 for Entertainment then the discount will be for the 12 month subscription period as long as you don't drop them.0 -
Been negotiating for the last few weeks with my 60% offer ending at the end of January. Upgraded to Sky Q about 4 months ago so not in a position to put in a cancellation. Currently have variety package, with movies, sports and sky Q, currently paying £36ish a month. Have been offered between £45-£48 to stay on my current package (Changing variety to entertainment package). Would ideally like to add kids and HD to my package
Today they offered
Entertainment Package £22 (£3 Discount)
Kids Pack £1 (£4 Discount)
HD Pack FREE (£5 Discount)
Box Sets Pack FREE (£5 Discount)
Cinema £8 (£10 Discount)
Complete Sports Package in HD £13 (£15 Discount)
Sky Q Multiscreen Pack £12
Total £56 per month - This offer would come for a new 18 month minimum term along with a one off £20 admin fee that would be applied to your next bill however this would ensure the offer for the full 18 months
Obviously not being able to put in a cancellation reduces my negotiating position. I’m not sure if il get any offers better than above. This has been all through their messenger facility. What people’s thoughts?0 -

Are you sure you can't cancel? I got a Q box off them about 3 months back but I made sure that I'm not tied into a new minimum term.
That said if you are in a contract then the deal they've offered isn't bad.0 -

Yeah I checked our contact and we signed up to a new contract. Probably an oversight that I didn’t push for it contract free.
I’m tempted to take the £56 offer. That’s a few weeks I’ve been back and forth with them and no signs of coming much lower. Was hoping to get it nearer the high £40s/£50 mark but that doesn’t look like happening. Seem the discount on entertainment package is minimal if you add packs on. Would only be £15 if I kept my current package. Just keen to get it sorted out as my bill for 1st Feb is £73.50 when my 60% off finishes0 -
