anyone on this thread got a Love Digital deal which has been discussed a few months ago? I just wondered what deal you got, and whether the deal was actually honored?
I dont have any issues with Love Digital , or Sky , but I remember the deals being offered seemed a bit too good to be true, so wondered if they were actually honored.0 -
Ok so it's that time of year again. I did my research, read back over the past few months posts to get an idea of offers and priced up Now Tv. My 60% off box sets and cinema was ending so I rang to cancel last week. Was paying £23.50pm and it was jumping to £57.50. They initially offered £33 for equivalent package which I rejected and went ahead with cancellation.
Been on chat this morning and offered entertainment £15, box sets £1, kids £1, HD £1 and cinema £9 total £27pm. I kept pushing but she would not budge from this offer. Genuinely think it was the best she had but I still turned it down.
So now to wait and see if anything better comes along. I might give online chat ago over the weekend, try and get through to India this time and see if they have better offers. Otherwise I'll have to try again once it's gone off.
Has there been much difference between the offers during cancellation period and once it actually goes off this year?0 -

That's about the best offer I think from what I can see. No way will they beatb £18 pm for the full package I had until March this year 😅0 -
My contract is up 5 Jan, so negotiating. Currently paying £55pm for Qbox, one minibox, sports, entertainment, HD on all, and box sets - which used to be the only way to get HD for sports, but i dont need those.
Offered same price, £55, for same package minus box sets, new 18mth contract, and the insult of a £20 admin charge. Not impressed.
Thoughts? Snag with going thro with letting it lapse these days is the Q box...
I'm wondering if just before Christmas is a bad time to negotiate, would it better to leave it till New Year?0 -
I am in the process of negotiating a deal, we have been offered SkyQ box and 1 mini box for £40 (installation cost) plus all channels for £77 per month.
It seems i should be able to get a better deal, just wasnt sure what people were paying for the SkyQ boxes (if anything)0 -

Yes I know the really good offers don't seem to be around anymore. I was on 75% with £100 credit year before last and 60% last year. I have seen entertainment offered at between £10-£13 but not sure if these offers were after cut off or not.
On the plus side I've had a letter extending my broadband deal since I cancelled tv (that's usually gets negotiated next month). I now have unlimited fibre at £8.99 until August 2020 and line rental at £10 until February 2020. No new contract either so that's one less hassle.
And to answer a couple of recent questions, Jikkie I have always negotiated christmas time and never had a problem. Usually get good deals especially if actually willing to let it go off for 1 day.
As for Sky Q box cost Carlamos, it depends on which box? I believe 1tb box has been £20 and the 2tb £75, though I do remember one poster recently getting it cheaper but I can't recall how much.0 -
Just renewed was previously paying £38.80 for Sky Q, entertainment, HD, boxsets, cinema and Multiroom but was going up to £65 in January. Now paying £34 for same package for 18 months, had to pay £20 admin but paying £4.80 less each month so happy with that. Here is breakdown
Entertainment - £10
Cinema - £10
HD - £1
Boxsets - £1
Multiroom - £120 -
How did you do it? I'm using messaging from the website when you go to cancel, but up at £55pm plus £20, for same as you, minus cinema but plus sports. dont think it can be right. need to have another go!0

If you haven't played the cancel and return game so have long tenure (without breaks) it's worth looking at the VIP loyalty offers on the mysky app. There's a really good Q with multiscreen offer that doesn't impact of any subscription offers you already have.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
