Sky are classing me as a returning customer as it hasn't been quite a year since returning to them but it will be shortly.
They have quoted the following...
Fibre max
sky q with second box
entertainment
box sets
kids
incoming calls as I don't use landline
£59 per month.
Is this any good? When I first joined them in 2016 my monthly bill was £38 for basically the same.0 -
After a day of haggling
Got
Line Rental & Fibre unlimited - £25
Anytime international calls - £8
TV Entertainment package - £10
Box sets £5
Total £48
Reasonably happy - was previously paying £39 for the original bundle and standard BBand
didn't want to actually be paying much more - but was ready to upgrade to the fibre Broadband0 -
Last year i got 60% off Boxsets package for £15.80 which was due to expire end of this month.
After negotiating:
Sky TV Entertainment package £10,
Boxsets £5,
Kids channels Free,
HD Free
Total £15 per month with 18 month contract.
£10 admin fee.
£20 upgrade to Sky Q 1TB box paid by card over phone.
Already in an 18 month contract for phone, anytime calls, 1571, fibre unlimited £35.0 -
been a customer for 15 years, was just coming to the end of an 18 month contract which was the full package in HD for £52.50 a month, gave me 31 day cancellation notice almost 2 weeks ago, have been offered the following
sky entertainment - £13 a month, 12 month contract
sky box sets - £1 a month, 31 day rolling contract
sky cinema - £9 a month, 31 day rolling contract
sky sports - £16.50 a month, 31 day rolling contract
sky kids - £1 a month, 31 day rolling contract
sky HD - £1 a month, 31 day rolling contract
the prices are good, but why is the entertainment package a 12 month deal then each other additional bundle a 31 day rolling contract? whats to stop them putting up the prices for one of the 31 day rolling ones after say 2 months? any ideas?
edit: just noticed its even cheaper in the final checkout, get more discount for taking cinema and sports, so £37 a month, which is obv superb but concerned why only 31 day rolling contracts
Your order

It’s not letting me edit my previous post.
I notice other ppl have better deals but when I mentioned my “friend” was offered better the lady told me different customers have different offers and knocked me like £2 off entertainment.0 -

Because not everybody wants the add-ons for the full term. They can put the price up at any time (including the base Entertainment package) but of course you can stop them at any time. Swings and roundabouts.0 -
ok, well ive taken the offer for £37 a month for the full package, dont think they will offer me cheaper than that0
