Wondering about Now TV fibre broadband? Any good and is it easy to change over, do you do it yourself? I have been really happy with Sky Fiber and really want to stay with them but the only offers I am getting is to save £5 over an 18m contract. Sky said its only 14 days to cancel BB and something about it would be an active live take over if I mover (whatever that is)

I moved from Sky ADSL to NowTV fibre (Sky own them BTW) as Sky were just quoting £30 for fibre regardless and only offered me a deal of £23 after I'd initiated the switch to NowTV for £20. Works as expected so far.

Thank you its one to consider. Did you need an engineer to set it up

No, you just swap routers over when advised although going from Sky to NowTV may work on the old router anyway, I'm going to try mine when I get the chance.

There's no actual deals on NowTV at the moment (at my postcode anyway) although the £20 deal seems to come and go frequently.

I`m going to try and have another go with Sky, but am going through to the broadband/phone department (last year I had to haggle with 2 different departments) I`d be happy with the £25 fiber deal they seem to be offering new customers. I also pay £8 for unlimited landline calls which of course increases any cost by another £8 (paid £28 this past year as got free line rental)

I’ve put in my cancellation request but get the impression the operative I spoke too has cancelled it in a weird way. Basically I got an email to say I’d removed items from my package rather than cancelling them??

Also when I log into my account it won’t let me look at new offers, it comes up with:
    “Unable to proceed

Unfortunately we are unable to show your exclusive offers available online. To continue or for more information, please call **********.”

    Anyone else had this?

Ive had this all week after putting in my disconnection request and then as if by magic im getting the offer page with entertainment at £13 etc, so it looks like it takes a few days before you can land on the new offer page. Hope this helps.
  • nightshot99 that sounds similar to the offers I got yesterday. After reading a posting (couldn`t tell you where it was as read so much lately) I used .. sky.com/mydeal and that`s where my offers were.

I accepted Ent £13, HD £1 and Box sets £1 for 12 months but had to phone them to add my multiroom.

Yes, those offers appeared for me last night so I went on chat and had to send a screenshot to them for them to activate it with multiroom.
    Entertainment £13
    HD £1
    Sports £14.50
    Multiroom £12
£40.50 for this setup, quite happy with that for the next 12 months :)

Just wondering whether you need to go through cancellation to get these deals. Paying for entertainment at £20 with discount. Thanks
