My brother in law has sky TV phone and broadband
What's the best way to get a discount on these, either TV first and then the phone and BB
Thanks0 -
Ok so I've rang sky as i'm 3 days out from my TV going off.
They've offered me 20% off!!!! REALLY?
I've asked what happens on the 9th, and she said everything from the planner will be removed etc? Is this correct? As i've still got 20 episodes of Australian Masterchef that the wife will kill me over if they go missing!0 -
See post #162.
Also, I only got offered 20% initially as well. Check your Sky box, download the My Sky app and check on the website. The offers are all different.3.975 kWp System, South facing, 21 degree pitch, 15 x Canadian Solar Elps, Samil Inverter, location NE Scotland (Fraserburgh) Bring on the Sun :beer:0 -
60% off my original tv package + broadband and free line rental coming to £16 a month rather than what was to be £45, cheaper than my original £25 deal.0

Nine days into 31 days cancellation period and after various offers ranging from 20% off up to 60% on various platforms (i.e. website, app, box, live chat) I`ve accepted 60% + £50 credit for 12 months via live chat.
I only got back in touch with them today as I received a letter in the post asking me to contact them regarding staying, otherwise I wouldn`t have got in touch with them.3.975 kWp System, South facing, 21 degree pitch, 15 x Canadian Solar Elps, Samil Inverter, location NE Scotland (Fraserburgh) Bring on the Sun :beer:0 -
My deal has been out of contract for a couple of months and is running month to month.
I currently pay 62.90/month for:
Original Bundle
Sky Fibre Unlimited
Line rental
Sky Talk Eve & Weekends
I got through to retentions and the best they could offer was the same deal for 41p/m - so 20-25% off. Is this likely to be the best deal?
Having gone through the app the only offers I have are Sky Fibre Max £42.40 for 12 months or Sky Sports &a Cinema for half price - but I've been told I can't have more than one offer running (is this true?) as I wouldn't be able to get the deal above, where the top deal where the discount is heavily on the tv,and get the cheaper internet deal too.0 -
You obviously haven't read many other threads, as the advice ,over and over, is to cancel tv and mean it. Most good deals come after switch off.
Phone and broadband deals are not so easy to come by, but after a very low offer time, seem to be improving.0 -
I've just managed to get boxsets/phone line/unlimited broadband on a new deal plus £50 credit for £31.50 instead of just over £60. This is for a 12 month deal with the TV on a rolling monthly deal.
I had to go via live chat for this as the phone offers are laughable even when I scheduled a full cancellation. I installed the Sky Service app on my phone after cancelling and it immediately offered 50% on the TV package, the online agent offered to up it to 60% before I even asked anything.
Edit: That works out at 55% discount on my full package via live chat against a measly 15% discount on the phone. Figure that one out.0
