What could possibly led them to conclusion I'm trustworthy enough to pay £10/month but not enough to pay £15/month?
    What's the point in guessing?

However, as I said, it's the amount you can spend (possibly accidentally: premium services, mobile data, international calls, roaming) that matters, not what you pay. The risk is obviously higher for a bigger number of contracts.
Being their customer for 6 months with all bills paid on time.
What possible bad thing in mentioned above raw file they can found which is not affecting overall high score?
The 'raw file' was suggested for checking whether there was a credit search or wasn't.
Possibly, there is some adverse information there as well: Credit Scores

I had tested loads of SIMs and networks, as for speed 3 and iD are slower, than EE and their MVNO's

What people don't know is 3 use EE's Mast's as well as there own
where i live there's not much difference in speed between the 2.

You can, CPW staff selling as what is on their system, what is allowed to them t sell, hence the deal, I found on-line, wasn't available to them... pity for the boys, but shudder- the better ;)

Ok i didn't know that one.

not there no more, but basically 24 mnth contract on some iffy (£40 worth) phone at £8.50, with 150mins and 300mb data- TRAP...

Not that I am arguing, if deals can be good or bad, just saying iD as most of them, by no means better than others, trying to build structures for grabbing money from punters[/QUOTE]

Trouble is all networks are hit and miss with deals they are all in it to make money they are a business after all said and done
don't matter which network you goto some people will never be happy about something whether its the tariff, phone, signal, custom service thats why i only get 30 day contract because if i don't like whats happening i just leave and go somewhere else.

Ok, let's assume they DID credit search.

Is there anything reasonably justified YOU can possibly think of? Don't answer me, answer yourself.

    Let's not. They didn't.

Customers who are committing fraud will take out several phones / sims with different networks.

THere is two checks you could pass for 5 because of your credit rating but the Cpw check won't let anyone take out that many contracts in a short space of time.

    It's about connections not value

I keep wanting to shoot myself for going with these guys, but live and learn I guess.

I just checked my bank statement and there's a charge for £94.50, They say I have used data outside of my allowance of about 911.11 MB. 1562 mb in total.
The charge was data usage on one single day and my phone reports usage for that day of, well 0. The whole month of April the usage as recorded by the phone is 4.73 meg.

The bill itself is super confusing when you start to dig into it.
It says total usage was 1562, allowance was 500, allowance rolled over from last month was 312, and I was billed for 911.11.

I don't claim to be a math wiz, but...
    1562-500-312 = 750 and not 911.11

And again, usage of 1562 would be 330 times what my phone recorded.

So I go back to the accounts page and look at this month.
It says that I have 500 meg allowance plus another 500 meg added (I have not added anything) for a total of 1 gig. It then states I have used 1 gig, AND that my bill next month will be £94.50.

So they seem to be suggesting that I used exactly 911.11 meg OVER my limit once again.

Before someone suggest that the bills are capped at £94.50, they are not. iD network refused to add a cap to this for me (daughters phone) stating that they can't do it. The 2nt month she had the phone the internet was off but she watched iplayer for a few hours and needless to say that the bill was well in excess of what it is showing currently.

The May usage on the phone shows 81.69 meg used.

So short of the phone using data and not recording it, I can only guess that iD network is making a huge mistake in recording data usage. Truth be told, the daughter leaves the data turned off unless she wants to send a message over some app, she'll turn it on, send the message/whatever and then turn the data back off.

I have tried contacting these people in the past and really drove myself crazy. Any tips/hints on who or what I should ask for in regards to this problem? I'll make the phone call some time tomorrow, but some guidance before I chase this would be nice.

I think the clue is "she watched bbciplayer for a few hours" and forgotten to turn data back off and use wifi to watch bbciplayer. Most Iplayer programmes are 600-900mb at least

Hi, Perhaps I typed too much stuff or you did not read it all.

I am not talking about that instance, I used it to show that they do not cap the bills. I paid that bill (October 2015) as that usage was valid.

What I am talking about now is usage for two other occasions.

4.73 meg phone -vs- 1,562 carrier
    and this coming bill.
81.69 meg phone -vs- 1,911 carrier (assumed as they don't say)

My Protest in November was that I could not set limits, and that they were unable to set up a system to send me usage notifications, nor could I move to a different type of contract to put limits in place.

I have ID and every-time i get near my limit i get a text message.

Are you on there capped contract? because afaik not all are capped.

You still need to find out why they are over charging you if you say you are not using all your data all you can do is keep asking or put a compliant in writing.
