iD Mobile Network - Any Good?

As for the prices going up all networks put there prices up and if you look will have near the same terms as Virgin.
You seem to mis-understand.
The majority of contracts have the same price throughout the term. In fact, I believe it was some sort of institution that introduced the whole "you can leave fee free if the price goes up" thing.
However, Virgin Media have got round this by stating in their terms and conditions that every July, your bill WILL go up, of which most people accept.
My Tesco contract (30 days) has been £10 a month for the last 4/5 years or so. Realistically, as it's a rolling contract, they could have put it up at any point and the following month, I'd have to pay or can leave.
By reading the condition above, it appears iD WILL increase your bill every year, whereas Tesco hasn't. They suggested Asda might do the same but not read their Ts and Cs yet.0 -
after reading this, im scared if they over charged ne,i just signed with ID sim only £5 a month0

GG don't do contract afaik its just payg.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -
Just to add something I forgot earlier - their notifications are as messy and useless as their customer support.
Just for example, last night: "You've now used 100% of your data allowance...."
Checking the app and web panel - over 400MB left...
Having such useful informations every month. Pathetic.
That's because you are on double data for a Year then drops down to half of what you have so it's letting you know that your normal data is running low....If they didn't let you know you would be moaning at that to.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -

I am switching from giffgaff to idmobile.
I just purchased the sim card from idmobile. I'd like to delay the switch of my giffgaff phone number to idmobile sim til about mid-August for some reasons (though not critical ones).
Is it possible to do this or is there a time limit after which, you cannot switch your old number to the new id mobile sim?0 -
If you have the pac for the number they only last 30 days and then you'll have to get another one.
If you don't have the pac yet, just wait until a few days before you need it. There shouldn't be a problem unless idmobile state in their T&C's that you can only port in at the time you start with them.0 -
You can PAC your number over anytime as long as when you get it you use with-in 30 days or you would have to ring GG again to get another PAC code.
You don't even have to ring ID Mobile to give the PAC code you just go on-line to your ID account Dashboard/My Extras/Keep my number.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -

That's great thanks. I did also have a read through their T&C's but couldn't find anything unless I missed it. I will hold off switching the number for August and use my remaining credit on giffgaff for my holiday abroad.0
