I don't know what is wrong with ID mobile but I guess I won't be able to get a sim from them.
Is there anyone here who has successfully applied a sim card from them? Please share your experience.
Stop right there.
Your score means squat and I mean diddly squat, zilch, zero.
Just because you haven't failed credit checks before it doesn't mean anything, anyone can fail a credit check.0 -

Failed internal security check today for I phone 6s. Checked Experian, I have perfect score of 999 but it does show a negative enquiry from car phone warehouse. Not sure how this can be and am very angry that my credit score is being wrongly affected. Also do they really want the business?0

This could be because something doesn't match between the Carphone Warehouse and iD systems, if you're able to contact us through Facebook or Twitter, we can look into it for you.Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of iD Mobile. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE0 -
Hello,
iD Mobile's credit check's are processed by Experian, Experian will then send us the credit check result (Accept / Decline). Unfortunately we don't know the reason's why a customer's credit check is declined as this is private customer information.
Many thanks,
iD Mobile.Official Company Representative

That's nonsense. A credit reference agency provides the external information but they have nothing to do with the decision. That's up to the organisation requesting it. Maybe it was just badly written, but it's the dealer or network that makes the decision.0

As someone with personal experience of tele-registrations direct at a network I would agree with mobilejunkie, you are talking nonsense.
The CRA supply raw data to a template designed by the provider, the provider will then make their decision of decline or pass (and often with varying degrees of pass for things like expensive handsets or international roaming).
The CRA makes no decision and is in no way involved in the decision making of the provider.====0 -
Ordered SIM only plan on 12 April and it arrived 14 April. I entered PAC code and my previous number at lunchtime on 14 April. Instructions on the website states that connections with PAC codes cannot be done at weekends and bank holidays. As it was Thursday 14 April I was expecting to be connected on 15 April between 09:00 and 18:00. By 14:00 I could make calls but not receive calls or texts.
By 16 April 09:00 I still had the same problem. I phoned customer services to be told that Friday is a weekend day and the porting would not be completed. The website does not state that weekends consist of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It is misleading and dishonest. The member of staff handling my call was apologetic and said she would send an urgent request to technical services to rectify the problem. She promised to ring my husbands phone to let me know the outcome. 4 hours later I have not heard anything and my phone is still not receiving calls or texts. I am not impressed and wish I had never changed supplier. So if you want continuity of a mobile service think carefully before using this company.0 -

They are talking BS, Friday is a normal day for porting.====0
