Hi everyone!
SFD 7 for me today. DS played rugby this morning. It was ever so muddy and I'm feeling grateful that the coach takes their kits home to wash so it's not something I have to concern myself with! We were all (apart from DS) freezing by the time we got home so called off our day trip again and had another board game session.
Used up some more freezer bits and created a hugely successful meal tonight consisting of stuffed chicken thighs wrapped in an Italian ham, spiced potato wedges, and fried cabbage with onion and bacon. All plates were completely cleared and my freezer is getting emptier by the day.0 -
Hi all, am trogging along just fine on a v tight budget. Had some eBay sales over the weekend though and a few quid in. I have to limp though to the end of the week for payday. Then I can start paying debt down for this month. Must stop wishing the days away though! Happy weekend with family and friends. NSD on Saturday. Not sure how many that is now, about 5 or 6 I think. Cleaned house from top to bottom and changed all beds too, so much easier now I've moved into a little house! House is sparkling, kids ready for back to school and I'm ready for a busy week. Packed my sales up for posting at lunch time.
Have a good week all.

Hello
I've read this thread from beginning to end and would like to join
but am not sure whether it's possible to start late and use this month as a trial run, or if I should start properly on May 1st?

Hi Selene  I was thinking this too...I've been a turtle before, but have been hibernating for a few months due to "life". Need to get back into a routine, so I'll be paddling alongside all the pros for April, I think, if that's OK?0 -
Morning all,
In the spirit of being nicer to myself I have called in sick today! So today will be spent resting and hopefully recovering.

Good morning Turtles
Polly well done on all your cleaning over the weekend. I'm sure those in the smaller house movement would all agree with your findings.
Selene Hello. You could try a dummy run this month and then start for real in May if you wanted to. Or just jump in with your daily updates. Glad to have you with us.
Today I am hoping to see some money in my account that I was owed. £60 to be exact. If it is there then I will use it for some small PADS. I'm hoping to get down to a flat £1400 by the end of this month's challenge.
Still a few trip wires to negotiate this week but I think the worst is past
Let's go everyone!
