Hello
I've read this thread from beginning to end and would like to join

Good morning!
Wow, you turtles have been busy. 4 pages to catch up with!! Should start and try to read over the weekend.
Had a good one: kids went to the new skate park and even DD (2) tried it on her bike, planted my seedlings out, cut the grass etc, got the kids muddy and soaking about three times in the garden, got my other seedlings potted (toms, chillies, herbs) and started replacements for the one in the garden the slugs started to nibble on after just two days. Will have to get some more plastic cups, cloches to put over them.
Even managed to get all of us to have a nap at the same time yesterday.
Friday was a spend day, spend the 32 quid I had left in LIDL on fruit, veg etc. Then on Sat and Sun I had SFD. Although OH borrowed money again . Well this month his salary for this job should've finally be sorted (proper pension deductions ect.) so I will sit him down for a money chat. He earns 400 more than me (i think) and don't think he got that more outgoings than me. Rather the opposite. Yes he pays for family days out etc more but also doesn't really think this is family money but it's his. Like when he stays in the pub till after 12 on the odd occasion or goes snowboarding. I don't do these things because they are not in "our" budget. So a good talk is needed. Also we're planning our next holiday and I come across as stingy (if we want to to that we also need to consider the new front door, the work in the garden etc etc, and he doesn't get it). Never mind that he is still in his OD, Sorry, getting all worked up about it, it;s just money.
till later
EDIT; Already had potential fraud on my account this year. Now I just got a text and a message on my online banking (onto which I can't get anymore) that my account as been frozen for an ongoing fraud investigation . Will have to wait till tonight to sort this out as I can't get my details needed for the phone call as I don't bring my wallet in anymore
Already changed all my passwords etc after the last incident, no idea what happened this time. Well might as well change my bank account soon then and see if I can find one that still does the incentives, take the positive from itDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

Hello,
all sorted with the bank. Someone pretended to be me and fished for info over the phone from a strange number so my bank blocked everything. Must've not gotten very far as luckily no money was taken. Phew.
Ran pretty much out of accounts to switch too as I did 1st Direct and Halif@x and been with R3S before. But my colleague is with Nati0nwide and they do a referral incentive of £100 each. DH said just change account numbers but it's probably less hassle to completely change banks with the 7 day guaranteed switch.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

Hi All
Thrifty Wow really sorry to hear about the fraud. That would definately stress me out. Your weekend sounds nice.
Sorry your OH needs a bit more financial 'coaching' it definately doesn't sound a fair division of funds to me. Hope he gets it after your chat.
Managed a £10 PAD as my money had come through.
How are you feeling now Fmess?
Calling hope you get a volunteer for May soon..

Hello, hello!
Sorry I didn't get round to checking in yesterday but it was a productive day! Two loads of washing done, house cleaned, beds changed it was all good because the sun was shining which really helped motivate me. It was a spend day cos I needed to stock up on a few things.
Today was NSD 8 so I'm pleased with myself there. Those of you who are beating yourselves up about spend days please don't, it's how it goes sometimes and the point is you are aware of it, it's not like you're being mindlessly frivolous.[STRIKE]497.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 286.34[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]182.00[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]180.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 130.00[/STRIKE] CC1 Paid!!:j
