    Good morning everyone
Apologies for being awol for a couple of days. It's been a combination of a bit of a tough time at home and then just too busy to get on and check in. One of my main goals for today though is to get caught up on here. I've just read through the past 3 pages of posts on here. Sorry not to comment individually, but I am at least up to date.
So, weekend was rubbish and quite stressful to be honest. I then had a belated birthday night out on Sunday and was out yesterday from 8am until after 9pm. Managing to stay reasonably fit and healthy - I don't drink any more so night out was alcohol free. Saw my trainer yesterday so exercise is ongoing etc. Plus, I got a late birthday present from a friend - a face mask! So I have no excuse not to pamper myself this week. I will find time to do that before Friday.
Today is a bit of a catch up day. Catch up on here - catch up with washing and housework, catch up with bestie, catch up with my crochet etc. Means I'll be busy without being too busy and overwhelmed.
I've bagged 2 nsds so far in April plus I've sold a couple of items so I'm managing to get a tiny bit of spare cash on the go. DH is back at work - early days - but fingers crossed we're on the up again.

Will catch up after this. Quick update first. Had a good weekend. Took the kids to a outdoor play but hubby paid. Done a big shop in LIDL (loads of meat etc) but the 71 quid still shocked me. Lazy day on Sunday and yesterday I was off as the nursery had an inservice day. Went to the library (free) and the science centre (oh dear). DS was still a bit too young for most things, but at least now we know what it's like. Then back home and got the house cleaned to an acceptable standards again, a few little things fixed (*) and the car hoovered as well as a few dishes cooked for the week.

(*) after spending another 26 quid in B+Q for a light switch and and CO monitor :(

Gonna pop away to do some work and will later catch up with all the weekends post at coffee break.

    EDIT:

will go to the postoffice today to post my dad's birthday present. Done the calculation online, and oh dear that will be dear (£30  in postage). Well, my own fault, should've gotten my act together earlier and got it together to take it over to them when we went to visit the at the start of March

Well while I was spending, got some more tatties so we're fine for food (cooked) for a while. And also spend £14 (50% off) on a groupon deal for Auchigarrich Wildlife centre. Might come in handy over the next few months. So, card gets frozen now (literally).

    Morning All

Blue sky this morning so we may go on the beach today rather than go to Porthmadog so that will be cheaper but the girls haven't surfaced yet so I don't know.

Bob - hope the next few days are easier than you anticipate.

CCL - hope you manage to get some time to yourself and that DH is on the up.

    Have a good day all

    Catch you later

  • Yesterday and today will be NSD’s. Oh damn it, as a write this I remember I need to by milk today, that’s frustrating.

Tonight will be my “pamper day”. I’ll go to the gym from work and finish it off with a nice swim, steam room and Jacuzzi. The peacefulness helps me get my thoughts in order. Lastly, I’ll foam roll my legs, so essentially giving myself a massage.

Loving this challenge and the togetherness on this thread, keep it going.

Made a quick £20 from a Facebook sale this morning :) one of the better ways to start the day off :) smiled and said hello to my next door neighbour this morning who is usually quite reclusive which has started my 'beings politer than usual' day off well :D hope everyone is enjoying the sun!

    Foam rolling your legs:rotfl:

Avoided by the skin of my teeth spending today, needed milk, bread but remembered in my pocket I had a five pounds morrisons voucher so added some yogurts and pork chops. Came to exactly 5 pounds woo hoo.

I should really double up and freeze milk/bread next time as lots of room in freezer at moment anything to gain a SFD whoever set the target so high?:D

Azzzaa well done on your facebook sales will scour the house tonight on a mission to find something to sell. I have tried being extra friendly to everyone, grinning like a cheshire cat, not everyone smiles back.

juliejim not far from me on your hols, nice weather today, bit of a cold wind here. Have fun.

CCL enjoy your face mask, put some relaxing music on and de stress, sounds like to deserve it.

Bob or should I say mysterious girl, hope whatever goes well :)

Pollygarter congrats on additional job esp something you enjoy.

    - Congratulation on fantastic e bay selling.

applemuncher I haven't slept all night wondering what a zwow is?

greent - hope your feeling better today.

GSR cat - pearl barley as risotto - how creative - have a bag of it at home unused.

erin_transport - yep there is a downside to crafting, still de glittering my dining room from easter egg decorating.

dizzyblnd feel free to share cereal bar receipe. Thanks for the ISA reminder might help someone on here

You are all doing fab, the only person facing the naughty step is me - useless exercise yesterday tried but just wanted to get home and sleep. I hadn't had a good nights sleep night before. I find each time I drink wine I can't sleep properly- red or white. So moral to this story I will stop drinking until end of this month well 30th as have a night out planned then.

Would like to hear any random acts of kindness.

Today offered to walk friends dog. Given left over immune tea bags to neighbour with the flu and epson salts to fellow dog walker who wanted some for his camelia. Stops leaves yellowing.
