Hi Turtles
So today. Woefully tired after DD being rather active during the night. No one needs to hear an explosive nappy after just settling down from changing the last one. Maybe I need ear muffs
Look a bit of a state today. What's that dog called, droopy is it? Yep that's the look I'm rocking. May actually be rocking soon if I don't get some sleep tonight.
But still, in Bob world things are ok. Mortgage and mobile phone bill went out today plus small charity DD to RSPB. Have 1 more big one on the 10th then it's plain sailing for the rest of the month. PADS here I come.
My 6 gratitudes for the 6th are
1) Caffeine. Plenty of it. Thank heavens for those ancient Ethiopians who discovered it.
2. A parcel of lovely new clothes for DD and some for DS.
3. Finding 2p in roadkill.
4. Not getting caught in the rain on my journies. It's lashed down here on several occasions.
5. My husband bringing me coffee & toast in bed this morning. Actually he does that everyday but I appreciate it every day.
6. All of you lovely Turtlesyour stories inspire me.
Bob
P.S Polly yes my frog went down smoothly. I popped it in the blender;)" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Quick check in from me.
Ended up spending today, had afternoon off and took grandson to zoo . Got annual pass so do go a lot, his little face lit up when he saw ice cream shop open, even though it was freezing couldn't refuse and bought myself a coffee to warm myself up. £4 argh
Bit down in the dumps as daughter is thinking of moving him to different school. Whilst nice to have free time after work, will miss seeing him as much. Will have no excuse to get fit soon and might get another dog.
Exercise walked a fair bit around zoo up and down hilly park, so that will do for today as still warming up.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -

Exercise done - walked to two charity shops (another 20 things gone) and to infirmary and back to collect my prescription.
Spent money. Decided I would rather support the volunteers shop but cost me £1.65. However a few years ago they did bring me and DS2 back home from a hospital 20+ miles away after he had day surgery. (No-one had said he couldn't come home by public transport and I was stuck without my address book and mum was away on holiday so couldn't phone her to ring round - would have been a very expensive taxi ride). May nip to see if there is any ys salad rather than lose another SFD tomorrow.
Not much done otherwise.
 to taking old ladies to the toilet. I was visiting a nearby town with the boys when they were quite young. Sent DS1 and DS2 into the gents and DS3 came with me into the ladies. After we were sorted we went back to the gents (in that particular bus station they are some distance apart). We waited and waited, boys did not emerge. Started scanning the users to see who looked trustworthy. I usually ask a member of staff or someone who has a child with them.
Never been so grateful to see two Mormons in my life. Explained the problem and asked them to check that the boys hadn't locked themselves in and couldn't get out etc. Luckily everything was ok and they came out soon after.
Today I am grateful for
Butterbean casserole and a chicken curry from the freezer (even found a mini naan)
bring able to walk further (strong wind too which was never behind me, mostly in my face and from the side once or twice
rain and hail waited until I was home
found a £1 in bed-kill (was inside the single bed where the drawer should be - yet another job on the list, DS1 didn't want to tackle that one)
£9.12 spent on salad and veg.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Spendy Wednesday here - £18 on passport photos for DS1 & DS2. Also new casual shoes for DS1 x 2 pairs (was only going to be one pair, but noticed that his other pair are virtually through to holes on the soles) and new trackies for DS3 (on a 3 for 2 offer - he has holes in the knees of his other 2 pairs) Also a pair of jeans for DS1 as part of his bday present, some stationery for DD (very cute and was also on an offer), a bday card for DS1 and then some teenage skincare (ie: anti spot stuff) for DD and DS1 - oh - and a pack of 50p sweets to split between them (good deal - they were eyeing up much more expensive stuff!!) and the car parking. I managed to pay in 2 cheques for money I was owed whilst out, but couldn't get my ebay posting done, so will have to get that done in the morning. Finally, DD went clothes shopping in H&M - I gave her a £5 off £25 voucher I got from taking in a bag of clothes for recycling (I took in 2 bags and used the other voucher on the jeans and trackies for the boys) - I also said I'd pay some towards it as she is desperate for clothes (tops, anyway) - so I think I'm coughing up £8 for a top and also for whatever the pair of leggings she bought cost - she can pay for the hair bits, the teeny tiny shorts and the playsuit
Fitbit didn't register any exercise as having been taken during shopping trip - but it was a decent amount of walking around in between all the shops (and quite quickly when it was raining!), so I'm counting it! I have more than covered my 10K steps today and also have a small amount of exercise registered from running around the charity premises I volunteer at
F&V wise - had carrots and red onions with lunch. OH can't decide what (if) he wants for dinner. Children have all been fed, so if he isn't eating I will have couscous with roasted veggies to get at least my 5/ day in today
No real random acts of kindness today, but did put a couple more items in CS box (may take that there tomorrow) - oh and let someone go in front of me in a shop queueALso filled our empty black bin with charity rubbish (we have to pay to have our rubbish dealt with, so I try and get as much in my bin as possible) - and brought all the recycling home for my bins too

Well I'm back at home so hopefully I'll be more on track from now on. I've been to the market this morning and also when in the Trespass shop - £14.99 paid for a nice coat for my dad's birthday instead of £74.99!juliejim not far from me on your hols, nice weather today, bit of a cold wind here. Have fun.
I need 150 more steps for my 10000 steps so I'll get that today but I haven't managed my 5 a day as I missed lunch as the kids had McDs on the way home.
Hope everybody's had a good day

Calling sounds a nice day at the zoo. Sorry your grandson might be moving schools though. Is he not doing well there or is your daughter considering a move?
Mothernerd well done on your bed kill, that's a new one on me:)
Greent £18 on passport photos sounds a lot. The photo booths are usually about a £5." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Evening all
Spendy day for me today. Was bestie's last day off and we decided to take the kids to an indoor play place and then for some lunch. To be fair that's been the only spendy day of the holiday. I'm now desperately trying to sort a birthday party gift out for a party ds is going to but I don't want to ruin tomorrow by having a spend day
I've done my weekly pamper as well. My friend bought me a face mask kit for my birthday so I had a long soak in the bath with a face mask on and a book to read. Quite nice for half an hour actually.
Also got a sneaky bit of exercise in - ds left the freezer door open last night and I couldn't get it properly closed again without defrosting it. My fitbit registered it as 45 minutes of bike riding - I'll take that :rotfl:
Welcome back juliejim - did you have a nice break? Not giving up

The photo booth by us is £7 per person now (I couldn't believe it when I did some for me!) - but these were from Sn@ppySn@ps - I find it easier to use them for small people as they guarantee to give you a passport-office accepted photo (started to use them when we needed passport photos for a 2week old lol) I use photo booths for myself and OH - and DD, who is sensible enough to do it properly

Hi everyone!
Quick post to report SFD 4. Only spends so far this month have been on groceries. I have to confess I raided my sealed pot (with a knife through the slot so I didn't break it open) and was going to spend it on ice creams, but we resisted and spent a few hours in the park instead. So, will put it back into the pot. Day off tomorrow but weather forecast not looking good, so no plan of action for free activities yet.0
