Yes! It's another NSD! Number three for me.
Have batch cooked a whole week worth of dinners from the budget! Delighted. Can't wait for them to cool down so I can pop them into the freezer!
Feeling grateful for good friends. Met up this morning and took all the kids to the park. Had good gossip and walk. All kids young enough to enjoy swings, slides and a good run around. No need for fancy attractions yet. Had brought my purse to buy the kids a little ice cream tub as a treat but the ice cream cabin was closed. Sad faces with the kids - me - trying not to grin too much at saving a few more £. Told them I would organise a bowl from the freezer with sprinkles or sauce after dinner tonight.
NSD 3
Walk done.
Fitness class tonight. Feel tired but know I'll feel great after it.
Grateful for good friends and nice parks
Batch cooking done
Love feeling organised. Thank you everyone! On a mission!

My 5 gratitudes for the 5th
1. A great conversation with a like minded mum. Love the way ideas spark when you talk to people with good energy.
2. Being on top of the house roughly speaking. It makes life so much easier.
3. My lovely baby who is 6 months old on the 7th.
4. My friend taking DS for the afternoon and giving him tea at hers.
5. Better Call Saul being on tonight. Have planned a simple soup and salad meal and plan to enjoy a lazy night.
Thanks Apple and Calling you made me laugh thinking of Peter Andre" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

I didn't post last night as worn out after first day back at work, stressed out about house move and feeling under the weather. Didn't eat tea and only managed 5000 steps,
Much better day today; 8000 steps, swim and 3 proper meals. Not bad to say I have spent 6 hours in the car!

Today I am grateful for clear motorways, for our washing machine, for the clouds being excellent for cloud shape spotting, for good coffee, for my mum.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Thriftylass - ouch re postage bill!
Speky - sounds like a nice evening after work - although I am intrigued by the foam rollering!
My sore throat and achiness appears to have manifested into catarrh and sneezing overnight - but I do feel better than yesterday, thank you
NSD not managed today - DS1 needed a piece of black card for art homework (and needed it right then....) so OH spent £2.70 on one piece of card at Stap1es, so I thought that I may as well go to Tesc0 and get the cereal which we'd run out of. Also scored a few YS bargains (well, it would have been rude not to!) Spent less than £10, thankfully
I *have* managed over 10k steps today - and 2 x 25 min walks, so also achieved my exercise target - yeay! Have eaten 6 veggies and 1 fruit today, too
Today I'm thankful for all of my children - even when they're being a pesky pain! And comfy shoes. And friends. And the weather

Doing well so far, takes 30 days to build a habit so I need to keep at it.
Had a lovely day out with the kids today and used less than the allotted spends which I'm so pleased with. I also foraged some wild garlic so need to find recipes to use it.
Finished up the last of the pasta tonight so doing well at clearing the cupboards.[STRIKE]497.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 286.34[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]182.00[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]180.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 130.00[/STRIKE] CC1 Paid!!:j

Some lovely good food going on, want to be adopted by Calling with too much gammon going spare! Bob, hope the frog slipped down fairly painlessly. Or if not, that the worst is done.
Just a busy busy work day. Kids still on Hol but house less trashed after some "discussion" last night. Had a simple supper with them, made lunch and spent no cash. Ten days to payday. Got some bids in on eBay which finish this weekend so a few quid there. It's desperate this month! I am kind of enjoying it though. On we go!Total debt at 18.9.17 £1950

Evening all
Just a quick check in from me tonight. I rather unexpectedly bagged a nsd. I had planned to catch up with bestie, but instead if going out we just slobbed on the sofa at hers for a couple of hours with a cuppa and a good chat.
I had the most bizarre random act of kindness a couple of weeks ago. Out in the shopping centre, asked by an elderly gentleman to take his wife to the toilet. Of course I was completely weirded out by it but far too polite to say no. I think personally that is random act of kindness sorted out for the rest of my lifeIt's one thing helping a toddler on and off the toilet and entirely something else helping an old lady...
