For the second time, Vodafone have removed the rewards I was collecting. Last time, I used Chat on their website to complain. They told me the rewards had been removed because they were more than 3 years old. This was untrue (and I could prove it). Eventually, I had to ask to speak to a Manager as we were getting nowhere. After a lengthy wait, the original person that I spoke to returned and said that as a gesture of goodwill they would return my points. It wasn't a gesture of goodwill, How could it be when the act of taking them, without cause, was theft. Now it has happened again.
Because this had happened to me before, I try to redeem my points when I am able. However, over the last few months, whenever I have tried to redeem the points, the website message is: "Sorry, there seems to be a problem. We're working hard to fix the issue, so please try again later."
I have made a complaint using the form but was not given a reference number.
If anyone has PAYG and collects the reward points, check your account regularly in case Vodafone steal the points!
Edit: I now have a reference number: 146554650 -
Using the reference WRT 135 I sent my complaint regarding why my contract could not be cancelled? So as a last resort used the above code and finally sorted.
I got a phone call and they could see from June I had cancelled (well I thought it was) Anyway, I have now received a refund and an extra £32 for all the angst I feel I have been through.
Still don't understand why it has taken from June to November to get it resolved. I didn't cancel my DD as I thought they will then say I have missed a payment:rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks to Dave who rang me from Vodafone:T0 -
That's easy; you followed the advice on here which is the only way to get anything resolved with Vodafone.0

Vodafone decided to blacklist my Three phone that I've owned from new!
WRT135 reference - #14663948
I am a Three customer with an LG G3 that I bought from Three on contract in a shop (so I am the original owner and have the receipt). So you would think I would have no reason to complain to Vodafone!!!!
Well last Friday Vodafone decided to blacklist my phone. From reading about erroneous blacklisting on here it is Vodafone that needs to request removal from the blacklist, as they blacklisted it in the first place.
I know that Vodafone did it, because I carried out a check on CheckMEND and then e-mailed them to get confirmation of who did it. The G3 may not be the latest phone, but it would still cost me £236 to buy a replacement on Amazon. So Vodafone have effectively decided to rob me of £236.
Here is the confirmation that CheckMEND e-mailed me. I have put the full IMEI in on my WRT135 form to Vodafone.

Is it me or are Vodafone hitting a new high in failing customers?!
Dealing with Vodafone seems to be getting harder and I know as I have had my fair share of dealing with them.
Five months to carry out a transfer of ownership which has resulted in being put on a new 24 month contract!
Personally being blacklisted for bill I knew nothing about.
I am currently in the process of trying to find out why a transfer of ownership has landed me a new 24 month contract! I have spent hours on the phone to Vodafone only to be given a out of date email that are not in use anymore. It seems as customer care is closing down! Also while login to my Vodafone account I check my bills only to find out that I had been charged £2.26 for calls to Vodafone. The Itemization for one goes as follows 191 (51s) 191 (14m40s) 08443350795 (15s) 191 (29m 56s). The call starts at 10:35 and the last 191 starts at 10:54. This 15 second cost me 0.473. So it looks like they transfer you to a chargeable number while they put you on hold. Be careful people! Doesn't seem that this fine has done any good for the customers. This has just made me more determined to get out of this contract and move provider.0 -
Following up on 692
Note, this was for a debt that I didn't have. Vodafone just decided to send me a bill a year after i'd left them. Oh, they must be in a such a mess, imho!
The Resolva system allows a user to compile and file a complaint in writing. I used it in the case of Vodafone.
The first submission to Vofafone remained unanswered. Ten days later the system reminded me i could escalate the issue, which I duly did.
A few days later i got a response on Resolva, which was to phone Vodafone. This was what i did previously, and got nowhere.
Oh dear, I thought, more time on the phone to Vodafone customer services!
Well, it turns out that the operative this time told me that the previous customer service person didn't cancel the billing. In fact, it was difficult to see what they had actually done apart from speak to me on the phone.
This time I asked the person to deal with it while i held on the phone. They did, and it took a while, but, they said they'd cancel the outstanding amount, and clear any bad debt issues, and close my account.
I have yet to see if it's finally been done.0 -

That's odd. I followed the advice on here and got absolutely nowhere apart from wasting my time yet further with Vodafone to be told there is nothing that can be done because it was already with customer relations.
Weeks later and still waiting for the deadlock letter so I can go to the Ombudsman/court0 -

if its been more than 8 weeks go anyway, that's what I did, as soon as the ombudsman got involved Vodafone stopped arguing, case solved,0 -
I've asked for deadlock letters on two occasions. Both times I was fobbed off, and despite repeated calls never received anything. I believe they pull every trick in the book not to send you one so you eventually give up.
Both times I bi-passed the ombudsman and just issued court proceedings which rapidly did the trick. But why do we have to go to such extreme measures just to get the simplest things resolved is beyond me ?
My last Vodafone contract ends today so hopefully as of tomorrow I'll be Vodafone Free !0
